Think Twice - There are Better Options
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/11/07
July 2007: A/C did not function,Korean staff non-responsive; 'new kitchenettes'... not in my room unless one considers 1960 'new'; staff not at all helpfull; notified ceiling light out, 5 hours later still out - changed bulb myself. Room designated non-smoking...I don't smoke, 100's prior must have. Over rated Travelodge franchise. Far below advertised standards. Poor location. There are better options in the area.

Accommodating in emergencies
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/19/06
When much of the Northwest's power went out in a major windstorm in December 2006, we, along with many others, attempted to find a motel for a night or two just to warm up and take a hot shower. The Everett Mall Travelodge may not be the most conveniently placed motel, somewhat removed as it is from the mainstream of Everett Mall, restaurants, etc., BUT--they went out of their way to be accommodating and friendly amid the stressful emergency circumstances. Knowing that many people were calling from cars or other temporary shelters, the Travelodge offered courtesy holds until people could get there, not requiring a credit card over the phone. The lone clerk manning the desk the night we checked in was being run off her feet but remained friendly, extremely efficient, and helpful. We were very favorably impressed with the harmonious experience we had there.

Good value and a good nights sleep.
By louis s, 03/13/06
I was a little afraid of the place when I first drove up to it. But my fears where soon laid to rest. Clean rooms and a comfortable bed made for 3 nights of good sleep. Thats about all we did there so most of the amenities we didnt use. Only thing about the continetal breakfast was kind of small ,but we survived. Thank you .I would recommend this to someone who has a tight budget and want a good nights sleep.
