Sun Canyon Inn, Sierra Vista

We stayed at the Sun Canyon Inn for 5 days while visiting friends in the Sierra Vista area. The staff at the motel were great, One of the desk clerks , I think his name was Randy, was an exceptionally nice young man, the buffet breakfast during the weekdays was as good as going to a Dennys. We had one of the balcony rooms and it was just the ticket for us. I highly reccomend this motel to anyone who wants a nice, clean, friendly , reasonably priced motel in beautiful Sierra Vista, AZ

Spent a little over 4 months at the Sun Canyon while going to school on Ft Huachuca. The hotel is older and could stand an update, but it was clean and suited my groups needs well. Very close to the base. - The staff is the friendliest that I have ever come across. Went out of their way to help us out and make us feel at home. - Wireless internet was fast even during peak usage hours but ethernet cable would not work. - Free breakfast Monday through Friday was hot, tasty, and a nice perk. - 3 free cocktails in the evening was unexpected and a welcome freebie. - Cable tv reception was annoying, but the local cable company was working on the problem when I departed. - Pool and hot tub were clean. Overall, had a pretty good stay at the Sun Canyon.

I'm in the final week of my 4-week stay at Sun Canyon Inn. The best thing about Sun Canyon is the full breakfast every weekday. It's good food and it saved me a lot of money, since I could start the day with a full meal, then spend less the rest of the day out of my own pocket. The women who clean the rooms are friendly, helpful, and responsive. The people who work in the bar/breakfast room are also great. The front desk was efficient. The price for my room with a queen-sized bed was $71, which is very good for Sierra Vista. Lots of military people stayed here, since it's just outside the main gate of Ft Huachuca. There is a nice pool and an exercise room that is well equipped. All in all, if I come back to Sierra Vista, I will do my best to stay at Sun Canyon again, mainly because of price, location, breakfast, and service.

Room was nicely furnished, very clean, and from the 4th floor...had awesome view. Good breakfast is provided every morning...and the lounge is hoppin' on weekend nights. Very nice folks in Sierra Vista.

I recently stayed at the Sun Canyon Inn for 5 weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff was extra friendly from the maintenance man to the hotel manager. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel for its age. The breakfast in the mornings was super and the complimentary drinks at night where the best. I would not stay anywhere else in Sierra Vista but here.

Too many soldiers! No offense, but the hotel was swarmed with young troops the entire time we were there, and they made an awful racket most of the first night. Front desk tried to handle it but weren't doing a very good job. Poor location, opposite end of town from everything else. I liked the decor and the furnishings. Bed was comfortable, but I wouldn't recommend it if you want a good night's sleep.

i love the bar, beer is great... you got to love beer and mixed drinks for a cheap price. oh and if u like food.... eat.

The staff is great. They make you feel like you are at home. The breakfast is awesome, it's not just your run of the mill continental it more. The rooms are nice and spacious.

Full hot breakfast-excercise room on property--heated pool and spa---wonderful staff--great location--clean--newly remodeled-complimentary cocktails--per diem rates--eighty room four story property--microwave and refrigerator in my room---restaurant and lounge in house---loved it and will never stay anywhere else in Sierra Vista.
