Z Bar Motel, Buffalo

We stayed here overnight last night on a cross-country trip with our sons. The rooms were immaculately clean, and the cabins were in excellent condition. The common play yard lent a bit of home touch to our stay, and the kids were excited to see a deer meander through the grounds as well. The motel is conveniently located to Main Street and the downtown area. The manager was very friendly and anxious to help make our stay comfortable. For the money, you need look no where else. We'll definitely stay here again!

Found out about the ZBAR online and booked my reservation sight unseen. When the big blizzard hit I called to see if I could come in Friday night and they left the keys out for me. When I got in at 1 a.m. it was such a relief to see the keys. The room was very simple, nothing fancy but it had a fridge, microwave and a coffee pot. Very comfortable bed and nice room setup. Have nothing but praise for the service and compliments on the entire stay. We definitely want to go back when the weather is better. Even stopped at the Occidental and got a wonderful history lesson from enthusiastic employees, great breakfast at Pistol Pete's. The clerks at the grocery store were funny and the guy at the liquor store even opened our wine since we didn't have a corkscrew with us. Great ambassadors for the city of Buffalo-recommend it highly for anyone who just wants to get away. We're coming back when there isn't a blizzard!!
