WE'LL BE BACK!
By ,
We were greated by the wonderful Mr. "W" who quickly prepared the necessary paperwork & escorted us to our beautiful room, "Rt. 66". We entered the room which was exceptionally clean, so warm (it was quite cold outside) & even pink roses in a vase on the desk! Everything was so tastefully & cutely decorated from "coca-cola" glassware in the red & white kitchen to the Rt. 66 wall hangings. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The staff was so friendly & made you feel right at home. We were treated like royalty! My husband was doing some consulting for 2 days, so I was on my own. Downtown shops, eateries & the beautiful lake with it's fun boardwalk were just down the street. I had so much fun & we'll definitely be back. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. "W" for having such a wonderful place for people to come.

Sweet!

The owner/manager was warm and welcoming. The room was cozy and the decor charming. It was spotlessly clean. We'd go back in an instant.

A Room to Remember
By ,
Nothing plain vanilla about this place. Built in the 1950's its solid and very comfortable. Every room is completely different using quilts and comfortors with themes like "gone fising", "Tuscan Garden", etc. The rates aren't $60 but range from $80 to $130 (2-bedroom w/kitchen) but they honor AARP & AAA or any auto club with a $10 discount. Liked the small refrigerators and loved the A/C, also the wireless internet access. Once we parked in front of our room we didn't need the car again! We could walk to all the restaurants, art galleries, beaches and park. Was also able to ride our bikes on the Centennial Trail right behind the motel.

Felt like home
By ,
Colored linens. Thick towels. Owners and staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms are all different themes. Funky and fun! Felt like someone's guest room. Very personalized. Great location. Reminiscent of road trip motels when I was a kid. Will definately return.
