Atrocious Customer Service
Where do I begin? Ratty sheets and blankets, ants crawling all over the breakfast area...but the worst was this;
After my daughter & I both fell on black ice in the parking lot, we were informed by "manager" Deb Bogart that it was OUR fault (buyer beware, she said) and that we were looking for something when we checked in. She said it was unlawful to salt the driveway Is it? (never heard that one before!) But even if that were true, what's wrong with saying, "We aren't allowed to salt the driveway, so be careful out there." Anyone with an ounce of human compassion would have warned us about that. When we stated that it would have been nice to at least get an "Are you okay?" or an "I'm sorry", she said, "I'm not the sort of person to say that." (What a surprise)
What in the world is she doing in customer service? After a heated conversation in which she was extremely rude and we were insulted, she finally ignored us. When we said we would never stay in a Comfort Inn again, she said, "That would be for the best." In all my 50 years, I have NEVER had such atrocious customer service.
I am still shocked and angered by this "manager", and can't believe anyone in customer service would treat a paying customer like that. When we asked for an adjustment on our room, she said, "Your story doesn't merit any kind of adjustment." We have contacted the corporate office about this and they said they will get back to us in 7-10 days. I just want the word to get out about this hotel. NO ONE deserves to be treated this way!
