Days Inn Saint Cloud MN, St Cloud

My kid goes to college in St. Cloud so Days Inn lost out on a LOT of business from us. Waited 30 minutes to check in, since we booked on Travelocity they said we were not Days Inn customer so they would not give us the room we requested. After 45 minutes of arguing with 2 staff and the manager about getting the room we requested (a king not a full). We left. Their loss.

We liked the pool the most, the kids had a blast as well as the adults. The service was very good. I could find nothing wrong with staying here. This is were we are staying when ever we are in St. Cloud.

This hotel is all around bad. The place is not well kept. Our room smelled horrible. The room also smelled like smoke, even though it was none smoking. Stains on the floor, just all around grungy. The customer service is horrible! We tried to check out shortly after getting there and told we would not get a refund. This place gives the Days Inn a horrible reputation. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My 2 kids and I get a room every X-mas eve along with my brother getting one to see our family for the holidays. When I called to book our rooms, everything sounded great: price location, pool and they accepted pets. When we got there, I was informed that yes, the pool was open till 11:00 as stated on the phone, but they failed to tell me that the waterslide was only open form 5:00-9:00: we had arrived at 8:30. I had checked in and found my room to be only a single bed when I had reserved a 2 bed room. The room itself was filthy, stains on the carpet, mold in the bathroom with chipping paint. We had no shampoo or conditioner, had to ask. Daughter was not feeling well and couldn't get her juice. I have never stayed in a hotel that refused to help out with things. Very disappointed in the whole experience there and will never go back. There are alot better hotels out there that have a better value and have a better quality of service.

My room was ok. But the room my sister and her kids had wasn't. I stay at quite a few hotels and never seen beds that small. and the trouble she had at the front desk shoudn't have happened the order got mixed up but they should not acted like that. The only thing you got going for this place is that water slide. other then that this place is not worth the money they charge. We won't be staying at this one again.

The hotel staff was great and the pool area was just a perfect place for the family. My kids cannot wait to visit this place again and enjoy the pool and the comfortable rooms.

I cannot wait to go back to this hotel. The staff was so nice. They personally pay attention to each and every customer. I would go back to this place anytime.

While trying to book the event room in the pool area I was first uoted that it was $50 for the room which included 5 wrist bands for the pool use. Anyone not swimming did not require a wrist band. When I went to book the room with the female who answered the phone, she informed me that it was required for all in the room to have the wrist band regardless if they choose to use the pools or not - even my eighty year old grandma.I told her that was not what I was informed by the person I spoke to yesterday and she told me that he was wrong because she has been their for many years and that was how it has allways been. I asked her to then cancel the reservation and she promptly said thank you and hung up on me! When I called back to get her name and report the horrible customer service to the manager is when she informed me that "She was the manager". Horrible experiance!

This place was great for me and my kids. While I enjoyed the spa, my little ones were enjoying the kiddie pool. The staff was also great. I would go back to this place anytime.

I have two kids, 5 and 8. They both LOVED the waterslide! The staff was SO nice. The front desk person, was SO nice, I left some stuff at home and she gave me the stuff right away. The building so safe, I went to my car at night and the whole parking lot was lit up with the lights. The other people in that area are also very nice. The chinese place, I think it's called Grand Wall Buffett or something, that was great. The movies were really cool, they had movies that weren't even on DVDs yet. If you need ANYTHING, just ask the front desk and they'll get it to you right away. I can't wait to go back to their spa, you can watch the kids and enjoy the spa at the same time. They even have a small pool just for little kids, I think that the little pool is 1 ft deep, so it's great for little kids. I can't wait to go back there again!
