We will return.
By ,
On a recent trip to the Boothill Casino and Resort we had the pleasure of staying at the Days Inn. My wife and i have stayed at Days Inn Hotels for years. We have always been satisfied with not only the value of their rooms, but also with the level of service that we have become accustomed to recieving. The hotel in Dodge was no exception. We were greeted with a smile when we arrived and that theme seemed to carry through the weekend. The room was just what i expected, it was clean with a king size bed, and all the little things one would need. I might venture to say that the mattress was more comfortable than my own, which was great after a long day of gambling. Their staff was not only proffesional, but very friendly which was another bonus. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone that would be traveling through Dodge City. The Inn Pancake House right on the property was also a great value, good food, good prices. I can't wait to go back and see those friendly faces again.

DIRTY DUMP
By ,
For a NONSMOKING hotel there were a lot of smokers. It was filthy and smelly. Trash and dirt everyplace I looked. Hallway carpet needed cleaned very badly. Nothing good about this place.

Won't stay here again
By ,
Uh... where to begin. At first glance, I was excited to find a Days Inn to rest my weary bones. Only to find that the room stunk of stale cigarette smoke. Adding to my dismay was the fact that some of the neighbors to the property were holding a Fiesta 2 houses away at 1am. Since I could hear the music in the room, the lady at the front desk nicely offered to call the Police for me. If that failed to rectify the situation, she did offer to refund me my $90 that I payed for the room and assist me in finding another hotel to stay for the night. Thankfully the call to the Police did solve the problem of the seemingly all night party. The operator at the desk was kind enough to allow us to use the hot tub in the middle of the night, although it was officially closed while we waited for the local constables to rectify the aforementioned problem. The room was in moderate disrepair, as evidenced by: the wall paper was peeling off in multiple locations; lamp shades broken; carpet was... in a word, nasty; handle to regulate water flow for the bath/shower literally came off when I tried to turn on the shower; the "comforter" for the bed was sticky/slimy (much the same way as the carpet was). Overall, very disappointed with the visit. I chose this hotel because of the Days Inn name and because I've not had poor service with any Days Inn that I've ever stayed at. The price/quality relationship is definitely not correct. For the quality that I've experienced, I would expect to be paying half of what I did for the room. With the quality of the room, I would expect to see a sign by the road offering hourly rates, with some scarlet ladies within walking distance of the office.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!
By ,
Please do not stay here, for your own sake. We were driving back from Colorado last week. It was around 12:00 a.m. and we just needed a place to sleep for a couple of hours. We called ahead and found a room at what we thought was the Econo Lodge. The hotel has recently been purchased by some mid-eastern couple. They repainted the sign to say Economy Lodge. All of the in-room brochures had been changed with a black marker. Econo-lodge should do something about this. Our experience was horrible. We had trouble checking in becasue they don't speak good english. They had a boy working in the front desk that was only about 12 years old, and it was midnight. There are laws against that. Anyway, we got the rooms. Big mistake. We opened the door and our room was about 100 degrees. They don't leave any air conditioners on in the middle of the summer. We turned on the AC and it was not working correctly. After a half hour we called the front desk for a new room. They argued with me about giving us a new room. They also said they wouldn't give us a refund. They finally let us switch rooms. It took another 2 hours for the room to cool off. The toilet was dirty, the shower was leaking badly, and there was crickets and other bugs all over the room. They only charged us $49.00 for the room, but you would be much better off spending a little more money somewhere else.

not so hot!
By ,
This used to be a wonderful hotel. This stay wasn't so good. The rooms were very out dated, in need of repair. The bathroom was in very bad condition. It wasn't stocked for guests & was very dirty. They did send house keeping to clean the bathroom but they still didn't restock it & we had to ask for more TT. The pool was clean, but the hottub was fithly & didn't work, although it was full of greenish water, people were setting in it. It stunk! We have stayed here before & had a very good experence, this time was terrible & unless we see a huge improvement we won't be staying again!

It was HORRIBLE!!!!!!
By ,
Our first room was HORRIBLE, it had a black ring in the toilet, a hole in the tub, no drain in the tub, water running down the wall, and no smoke alarm detector. So, we complained and found out it was on the maintance list(so why did they put us in that room). They gave us another room that there was no phone in the room and there was a horrible smell in there. By this time I was ready to go, we found other arrangements and they wouldn't refund our money. Remind you we were only there for an hour at the most. We talked to the manager and they said because their cleaning crew had already left that they couldn't do anything else. So, save yourself the hassle and find some place else because we will not be going back there.

We Will NEVER Go Back!
By ,
The EconLodge in Dodge City, KS, was a dump with a capital "D". When we checked in, I asked for a ground floor room, which Victor (desk clerk) gave us, room 116 as a matter of fact. The room smelled horrible, as if it had been closed up for a VERY LONG time, and almost took our breath away. The walls were tissue paper thin, and apparently NO insulation between the floors, as the person/people above us had a 15 month old baby, and you could literally hear the child walking/running across the floor. After dealing with this for a very short time, I told my husband that was ENOUGH and headed to the front office, where I plainly told Victor (desk clerk), that I wanted a room where NO ONE was above us, or my money back... his choice. We were given another room, room 222, upstairs... where the room still smelled, but not as badly. When you walked across the floor the boards would creak, the doors (room & bathroom) needed a good shot of WD-40, and our toilet was broken, whereas you had to literally stand there and wait for the tank to fill up and then jiggle the handle for it to shut off. The bed linen was wrinkled and upstairs where we were now moved, the TV set was smaller compared to the one on the Ground Floor. ONE Ice Machine for the main motel, located on the Ground floor, so if you wanted Ice, you had to run up & down the stairs. No Shampoo, coffee pot, stationery or anything! This place was a DUMP with a capital "D-U-M-P", and I would not recommend it to any one. It might be great for pets, but for humans, For-get IT! I rate this MOTEL = MINUS 100
