Studio 6 DFW Airport North, Irving

This was formerly a Quality Suites, but it's now a "Studio 6" and thus there's no WAY they can keep quality in their name. If you want the charm of a 3rd world country without the expense, this is the place for you! Not exactly clean, everything screams CHEAP in a way that's kinda creepy. For example, our non-smoking room had bedspreads with cigarette burn holes. Huh? The sofabed just clears the TV, but if it's open, no one can go in or out of the hotel room. Communication IS extremely difficult (esp. on the phone) as English is not their first language. No harm there, just not a great experience overall. If you care about NOTHING other than price, this is the place for you!

Motel extremely dirty and the plumbing was substandard. Maid stole my son's toothfairy money. Motel charged my credit card a smoking charge, and refused to reverse charges after it was proven they made a mistake. Difficult to communicate with General manager about situation. Staff quite rude and inept. We will never return to this motel.

This is an extremely old hotel. The room smelled musty and we found peanuts (not ours)on the floor behind the entrance door and an unusual residue on the bathroom counter adjoining the master suite upon our check-in. We reserved a two room suite and during the 1st night of our stay, the A/C for the main area froze during the night. This made for a very warm, muggy stay and we had to depend on the A/C for any cooling from the secondary bedroom. The bathtub in the master suite was dingy and appeared as though it had not been cleaned throughly in some time. We brought our family for a weekend outing to the Dallas area and the hotel was not up to our expectations at all. However, to end on an up note, the continental breakfast area was nice and the food was good. My family and I will most definitely choose another lodging during our next stay in the Dallas area.

This hotel was a great value. It was very clean, in good condition and the service was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One of people traveling with us had a problem with the bath faucet, so they called the front desk and it was replaced with a new one the next day (our faucet worked fine). Otherwise everything worked fine. The place was very clean, no bugs, no dirt...made for a very comfortable stay. The free high-speed Internet was nice as well as the free continental breakfast. Nothing special, just a typical hotel continental breakfast. The staff did an excellent job at making sure nothing ran out and that the food was fresh. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was not very clean. Tub was pealing. It had a kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, but nothing to cook or eat with. When asked at the desk, they said they didn't provide cookware, but would give me cups and plates. Paper cups, I was afraid to ask for the plates. Lights worked but almost started a fire when one of the lamp shades began to smoke. AC only in one room with a fan blowing the cool air into the bedroom. Didn't work well. A stair broke on the steps my 2ed day, it was still broken on day 5 when I left. At least they put up a sign. They failed to warn people that they were haveing problems with vandles breaking into cars. I wouldn't have known except for the pounding outside my door where they were running power lines for the camers they were installing. There were safer areas around the hotel to park. Room cleaning was poor. Out of the room for 6 hrs last day and couldn't get it cleaned during that time. Breakfast was ok, except I walked out of the dining area with my food on the table and was locked out because it was closing time. The computter was passworded, but was able to use it. Desk staff helpfull but to busy due to only one person working.

The hotel had a great breakfast. The kitchen and fold out couch in the suite was a great extra. The hotel staff was very nice. The washateria at the hotel was very convenient as was the gym. I love the fact that the hotel had an elevator because my grandmother traveled with us and has trouble climbing stairs. We rented two suites with 2 bedrooms in each and got no complaints from anybody. Will definetely stay here again when I come back into town. Overall a great value.

The price of suite was excellent and the rooms were clean. Having a full size refrigerator was a bonus for a longer stay. Microwave in room a good deal. The breakfast offered waffles which are kids liked. The in room internet connection did not work. I'd stay here again.

Convenient airport shuttle and a good value. I stayed here during a convention at the Gaylord and took the shuttle their each morning. Kitchen in the room was a nice benefit.
