I will not go Back.
By customer, 02/09/09
I reserved my room a month in advance as did a friend of mine and the day of our visit we called to confirm our reservation and they could not find it. I was a shaparone to a group of students so I had to have this room. We tried to call the hotel for 2 hours to try to straighten this problem out and they would not answer the phone. Upon arrival to the hotel the manager finally said that he found the reservations and the reason that he could not answer the phone was because they were swamped with customers, the parking lot was empty. I had called the main Days Inn office and they could got an answer right away. The beds were extremely hard, I could have gotten a better nights sleep if I had slept on the floor. There were not enough towels in the room and the wireless internet that they claimed to have had was not working. I will not stay here again.

Aggravating Drunks !
By David, 12/23/08
Upon arrival at the hotel I was greeted with Kindness and felt good about the personnel. You couldn't beat the price of $39.95 even with a AARP or AAA card that wasn't accepted with this bonus stay price . I entered the room and immediately turned the heat on it was 29 degrees outside. I finally fell asleep and was awakened by a very loud disturbance in the room next to me Room 55 at exactly 1:45 A:M I tried to ignore the problem but continued to hit the wall as though there was a wrestling match next door with loud laughter and voices.I then heard a girl talking on her cell phone braging about how many shots she had taking that Night .About that Time the police drove through and saw her and asked are you OK her reply was yea no problems.I could see and hear hera because she was sitting on the stairs right in front of my door.she thought she was at the Holiday Inn .so 2 drunk girls and one drunk gut had no respect for the decent people around them. I got up took a shower at 2:30 and went to the office and told them I had enough. I asked for a refund and was told I can't do that. but I'll call the police . Well if any Days Inn would like to send me a voucher for one free night at any Days Inn I will accept it other wise it was my loss, David

i have stayed at the days inn on hollywood drive about 4 or 5 times since july. my last visit was very upsetting.upon going to bed i noticed rat droppings on the nightstand and rat droppings on a towel in the bathroom. i called the front desk and told the clerk about this and she game me another room. i have always enjoyed going to this hotel but from now on i will ask to check the room before i pay.

Evacuees were welcome
By ~Kristal~, 09/13/08
Hurricane Gustav forced my family to go on a mini-vacation. We called several places and Days Inn, Jackson, was the only hotel with rooms available that also allowed my 2 cats. Our stay lasted 7 nights. I had never heard of Jackson, TN., so I was not sure what to expect. What we received was excellent service. By the time we made our reservation, to the time we arrived, the hotel had booked up. This was one of the largest evacuation events in history. We checked in, and went to our room. It was 2 queen sized beds, memory foam mattresses, clean, and air conditioned perfectly. The staff was amazingly nice. Every morning for breakfast we went into the lobby area with our laptops. The man at the front desk, Louis, was awesome. He knew everyone by name (the guests). He heard their stories, helped them with directions and went above and beyond what you would expect. The hospitality lady, Joyce, was equally as nice, sharing her own stories of tornadoes. When we expressed that we were interested in relocating, neither could be happier, giving advice about neighborhoods, schools, locations, etc. My only disappointment was that FEMA was not contracted with them and we had to leave for a hotel that was contracted with FEMA. up on entering the hotel I thought what a nice place. The room was nice and pretty well set up. We had to stay for a few nights since our truck had broken down and wouldn't be ready for at least 3 days. Every thing was going good until the next morning. House keeping tried walking into our room. There was no knock, and no identification of who it was. Luckily I had just gotten back to the room with some breakfast and had put the chain on the door. The next day, some one came to the door and asked to use the cell phone. Don't know who she was. Couldn't get maids to bring towels when called for. Had to go track them down. On the last day of our stay, I assume that it was the head Maid, instead of calling to see if we would be staying or checking out tries walking into our room. Luckily once again I had put the chain on the door after getting some breakfast. I was so affraid to be there by the time we left that I would not recommend this place to anyone. And would not stay there again if my life depended on it. No way! In Florida we call this room invasions and it is not tolerated. Be Cautious!

stay here 4 times a year
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/20/07
We have to go to jackson, tn four times a year due to custody visitation. We have stayed here a week at a time while waiting for my son to return. We have always been pleased with the accomidations and the staff. There are a couple of staff members who remember us when we return.

Worst Place to stay
By , 11/05/07
This is the dirtest hotel. The staff was rude especially the night security guard. My bathroom was dirty and there was I leak at the sink area. I was rudely awaken at 1am by the guard who said I didn't have a reservation...how did I get in the room??? The owner did nothing. I had to demand my money back never ever stay here!!!

Jackson,Tn Days Inn One of the best
By Dennis H, 08/06/06
My wife and I are Professional Drivers and have been delivering to the Jackson, Tn area for the last year. we were looking for a hotel that was accessable for a Semi, Reasonable, Clean and pet friendly. The Jackson Days Inn met all our Requirements. We were surprised by the service, friendly atmosphere and overall concern for their guests. I would recomend the jackson Tn Days Inn @ I-40 & Rt45 Bypass to all travelers.

Great Quick Stop
By Heather, 07/07/06
We had been traveling for business for two weeks and while heading East on I-40 from Hot Springs, AK to Knoxville, TN we decided to stop mid-way. There are several hotel/motels on the Hwy 45 By-pass exit in Jackson, TN, but we opted to try the Days Inn. We were pleasantly surprised by the clean facilities, comfort, room ammenities and wi-fi access all for $50. I had to add a review after noticing the 1.5 stars for these accomodations. Pointedly because you never know what you're going to get if you just pull over and hunt for a room. However this hotel makes the road-weary traveler quite comfortable for a more than affordable price.
