Hunter's Friend Resort, Branson

In November 2011 we stayed with family (2 other couples) in Rockwood 14. Check in was easy enough to find and the woman at the desk was very friendly. When we entered the condo all I could think was "Amazing!" and how I couldn't wait for the others in the party to arrive and see what an awesome job my hubby did in finding this place for us! Loved the master suite, full kitchen and having breakfast on the porch each morning watching the steam rise off the lake. So close to Silver Dollar City. Close enough to the strip to not make it a headache to get there, and I loved the feeling of being off the beaten path without actually being off the beaten path. Would love to go back in the summer to take advantage of the pool. If you are traveling in a group and sharing the costs, Hunters Friend is THE WAY TO GO! You won't find a hotel even CLOSE to this for what you'll pay for your share. This place is luxury, yet so comfortable. I could totally live here.

We love everything about Rockwood condos.It was one of the nicest places we have stayed.I would recommed Hunter's Friend Resort to everyone.

my sister found the place,and we were there with our spouses. it was a condo 3 bedroom lots of room beauitful. wish it had one more bathroom, 3 couples 3 bedrooms, but only 2 baths.

We stayed in one of the three bedroom condos and found it to be easy to access and the accomondations to be outstanding for the rate. Lake access was wonderful as well as the pool. Will plan to go again.

My family of 5 (DH, DD, my parents and me) stayed in a Hunter's Friend (Rockwood) condo from August 29-Sept. 1st. We checked in at the main office around 7pm Friday night and the desk person was extremely nice, helpful and she gave us information on things to see, places to shop...and of course directions on how to get to the condo. We then drove over to the Rockwood's Condo which is near the Treehouse condos. We were in unit RW14 and upon entering the condo we all just said WOW! Beautiful hardwood floors, marble counter tops, 4 flat screen TV's, private balcony, extremely comfortable beds...the amenities are AMAZING and plentiful. The owners spared no expense in furnishing this condo. We truly felt like we were on a luxury vacation. The owner came by that evening to make sure everything was OK. My daughter also really enjoyed the zero entry pool with the fountain. I could barely get her out of it! She also enjoyed the jacuzzi tub in the master bath. She has autism and has serious sleep issues but a jacuzzi bath each night helped calm her and she slept from 9pm-7am. All in all my family was very comfortable in the condo and we will be coming back next year with more family members and renting 2 condos! After staying at Hunter's Friend I don't think we can ever stay anywhere else in Branson, we were that spoiled!

Rooms are big, good for families and group of friends would like to save money to spend in Branson. There is cable tv(which I never used cz there are bunch of activities to do around here), free wifi, a microvawe, coffeemaker, a small fridge, a table and couple chairs, aircondition works good inside the room. I found the room very clean and there is plenty of towels, wash clothes and soap. There is a pool with a diving board and it is quiet most of the time cz everyone is out doing something. There is a little store right accross the street in case you forget to pack your toothbrush like me. The owner Mike gave me the key to my room and he had a very welcoming attitude. He also showed me the 3 bedroom condos which are over the top. They are new and nicely decorated. You would easily find anything in the condo like you are at home, on top of that there is the pool and view of the lake is fantastic. If I wasn't by myself I would definately stay in one of the condos. You will not be disappointed.

Loved the location and the people were the nicest ever, Wouldn't stay anywhere else. Highly recommended to all. service always available when needed. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

This is our 2nd year staying at Hunter's Friend in condo 302 and we love it! I was so impressed the first year by the spacious, beautiful, and well decorated condo. The king size beds are something you can't find in most condos. The jacuzzi tub, deck overlooking the lake, leather couches, grantie countertops and full size washer and dryer are the best amentities around! We just got back today from another great 4 day weekend and can't wait to go back again. The price is unbeatable at 150.00 a night (50.00 per couple) and the full size kitchen and large dining room table are great for playing games and grilling the fish we caught. The view from condo 302 is breath taking and drinking our coffee on the deck each morning was a delight. I celebrated my 28th birthday and my parent's 37th wedding anniversary this weekend and this is now tradition to come every year, the last weekend in April, to Hunter's Friend. We met Oz, the new owner of Killarney's Pub,next door to the condos and he was very welcoming and super nice. Killarney's has a beautiful outdoor deck and the interior decor is clean, rustic and very inviting. We hope to see Oz's new business thriving next year and can't wait to go back. Try the little restuarant next to the main office and the grocery store as well. Very nice employees who will help you with anything you need. The restuarant will pack you a lunch to take on the boat during the day and the store sells fishing licenses, tackle, ice and whatever else you need. I also recommend Brandon Pet Resort. We have a mini schnauzer and he would have been cooped up in a crate or left behind at home (since the condo doesn't allow pets, which is very understandable considering the nice decor) It is only 16.00 per day for the pet resort and our dog was very happy to be there and he was very well taken care of. It eased my mind to know he was able to play and run and not have to be stuck in a crate or a garage while we were gone. We are hoping to go back to Hunter's friend again for labor day! Can't wait! This is the only place I will stay in Branson!

First, let me say that Indian Point is the BEST place to stay for families that like to enjoy the lake, Silver Dollar City, and the shows/attractions. Instead of sitting in the endless line of traffic onto Indian Point with all the other SDC-goers, you get to drive right in from the other direction; no traffic. Hunter's Friend Resort is the best value on the Point. The rooms are well equipped, immaculately clean, and they have a great Pool. The owners are friendly and helpful with finding things to do for all family members. We've also stayed in their Lakefront Condos which are amazing! It's great to wake up in the morning right ON the lake. Kudos to Hunter's Friend for location, eminities, cleanliness, price, and friendliness!!

We were really close to Silver Dollar City and a few minutes from down town. It was really quite and plenty of room for a great price. Will go back. The only thing we will do different will be to order our tickets to Silver Dollar City and other places in advance. Hotel Office was out of some tickets. Overall very pleased with condo, price and location.
