STAY AWAY!! Unless you like the smell of pee!

This is THE WORST experience I have ever had as a traveler. I'm no Queen of England, by any means, but I could not believe the smell and filth of this so called "motel". We didn't stay more than 5 minutes and were more than willing to lose the $75 cost in order to not have to stay there for the night. The owners WILL NOT refund your money despite their poorly kept facility. The room smelled of urine (strong), had not been vaccuumed, or dusted in who knows how long. There was a paper towel under the coffee maker in the room that looked as though it was used by other patrons and not replaced (there were coffee drips and grounds on it). I can appreciate meager accommodations, but refuse to sleep in a place that is filthy. Owners are heavy smokers, and most likely do not even realize the odors that are present in the guest rooms. The bathroom seemed fairly clean, but you can't sleep in the bathroom. I'm all for simple, quaint and nostalgic "mom & pop" motels, but this was a bit more than I could handle. If I could give it a ZERO for cleanliness, I would!
