Crestview Inn & Suites Cedar Lake, Cedar Lake

My husband and I weren't quite sure where to spend out honeymoon night before we fly out to Hawaii for our real honeymoon. We found this place on the Internet and after reading some great reviews, my husband visited the place for a tour. He was sold and said the staff was extremely helpful in making our wedding night as perfect as it can get!!! When we arrived and as soon as I stepped into the suite, I was amazed, perfect romantic background music, rose petals around the whirlpool, candles lit, rose petals on the bed!!! Very romantic!!! Room was amazing! I'm happy to say that this place is definitely a hidden *GEM* in Cedar Lake!!!!

The first suite I stated in the burners didn't work, the roof leaked and management didn't care. Second suite was awful, and the cable didn't work, manager didn't care nor did he fix it. The suite was over priced for the condition of it.. No service all the time I was there. Even complained to management but he did nothing. Will never stay there again.

WOW , everything about this place was awful...The service was bad, the rooms very awful, the cable wasnt working, and people hung outside while we tried to sleep...I didnt feel comfortable and the staff didnt seem to care! I do not recommend this place at ALL!!!!

I was totally peaved that the room I was in had bad cable reception. I asked to be moved and they wouldnt for it "might" get busy. Even though I was staying 4 nights and payed 298$. I have been here a few time and never please with the service here, I will not be comming back.

First note that we only stayed in the "newer section" of this hotel. I stayed here last year (Aug 04), and it seemed to be cleaner then, there were resin outdoor chairs outside your room so you could sit outside. We enjoyed this feature, drinking our coffee in the morning outside while the rest of the family continued to get ready. We rented 4 rooms. This year when we stayed, the rooms did not appear to be as clean, the carpet was filthy, the coffee pot was grimy, the styro foam cups for coffee were yellowed as if they were old. No kleenex in the room. The outside chairs had all been removed. While the staff was very friendly it does not make up for lack of cleanliness.

Escape the region's hell . . .stayed here on a recent visit to Chicago and was very impressed by the unique room decor and the friendly/helpful staff. Hats off to K. Sarti for a beautiful property that STANDS alone in terms of uniqueness and escapes the bland decor of so many chain hotels. Brilliant!

This little place is fantastic. We felt like we were in another city, state, and time zone. Beautiful CLEAN room and price was good for the romantic suite. Staff was friendly. Helped with me surprise plans.
