Sea Gull Inn, Virginia Beach

It was one of my best trip ever. my window faced the Ocean and watching the sun come up was wonderful. I truly enjoy my stay it was a Blessing.

I loved the fact that there had people cleeaning EVERYTHING inside and out like 20 hours a day. From wiping the chairs outside to the outside lights. The maids would moove everything and wipe everything down. The only thing is lack of drawer storage. I lucked out and had brought 2 empty laundry baskets in which we ended up keeping our kids clothes in. It's a great place, friendly and man do they clean. The pool as well as the hot tub was impecable too!

This was my first time to visit VB and I was very nervous about finding an affordable, clean place to stay. After many weeks of searching, SeaGull popped up on my computer. I checked it out, looked at the pictures, read reviews, and booked it for Aug. 2007. Then for weeks I worried that I got such a good deal, that I would go there and it would be nasty. So I worried until I got there. Our sons had bought us Kenny Chesney concert tickets for Mothers and Fathers day and nothing was going to stop me from being there. But boy the closer I got to the Motel the more worried I became. Then I went in checked in, the lobby was nice and clean, staff was friendly, so far so good. Then I went into our room. I was blown away. It was much cleaner than rooms that I had paid way more for in Myrtle Beach. The bathroom was spotless. The fridge was clean, beds, everything. I was very pleased with our stay. The restaurant downstairs was very nice, good food. The only complaint I have is that the parking good be better. We were lucky and found a place right there in the main parking lot, but others were not so lucky. We didn't have to move our car the entire time we were there because of the ease of walking, trolleys, and the night of the concert there was a bus that picked us up and dropped us off. Nice plus!!! We are already checking Kenny's schedule for what month he will be there and are going to be there as well, this time we are bringing our son and his family. See ya soon SeaGull!!! The Sea Gull is nicely located on the oceanfront, nestled between the Holiday Inn and the Dariy Queen, which stays open way into the night. The Sun deck was great early in the morning. I wish they had more oceanfront rooms. However it was a good buy being located on the oceanfront. Thank You for a Pleasant Trip.

This is a great value for the money. There is an awesome rooftop area to watch the fireworks at night and the dolphins in the morning. I loved it! The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was friendly. The only downside was that there are only like 12 parking spaces and if you don't get one of those, you have to park in a lot that is a block and a half away. I was happy with the experience overall and plan on returning again next year.

We liked the general location, the beach is in your backyard, just have to walk about 100yds and you are there. It was even nice to see the owner out working with the others. If we needed anything they would bring it to us with 20 minutes. The sun deck was great also

WE LIKE THE LOCATION ON THE BEACH. THE RATES WERE REASONABLE. THE INDOOR POOL IS GREAT FOR OFF SEASON VISITS. WE HAVE STAYED SEVERAL TIMES AND ENJOYED EVERY VISIT.

My husband, 13 year old daughter and I just got back from our spring trip vacation at Virginia Beach and must say we were very impressed with the Sea Gull. The Sea Gull is not a 5 star posh posh hotel, but the rooms were very clean, the service was very good and the price was decent for rooms with ocean view for a family on a strict budget. The parking is a little less to be desired due to the size (very small) and the satelite parking is a couple blocks away but that is the only "gripe" we had; and that was a small inconvenience more than anything. Overall, it's a great place to stay and we'll definitely stay again.

I stayed here in August of 2006. I had a problem with car (fuel pump went) Had to be towed from Chincoteague VA!! The staff was friendly , accomodating. Two days later , helped control traffic , while tow truck came and we had to push car across Atlantic Ave to the truck ( had overhang where tow truck could not fit). The place was clean! Family oriented and Family owned ( A plus ) I had read reviews that elevator was slow , but hey what is 5 minutes. Good restaurant , economical prices for Hotel and restaurant. Beautiful Oceanfront view!

We stayed five nights at the Sea Gull Motel It is is a great locaton. Staff was frienly, and kind.Pool was clean, though we did not use it much. The housekeeping was always top notch everyday.Only bad thing was the shower head was placed very low in our bathroom, and we had to blend down to wash hair. Would love to stay here again!
