Perfect Stay

My dog loved the hotel as much as we did! He loved their large beautiful courtyard that came equiped with a dog cleanup station. We loved the clean rooms. They seemed larger than your standard room and were very pretty. The staff was friendly, helpful and always greeted me with a smile. My husband and son took a dip in their large outdoor pool and it was hard to get them out of it to go to dinner. This hotel was in a great location - very close to many restaurants (chains and local) and plenty of shopping. I will return.

Property looked brand new! Great free breakfast. Staff was very helpful. This was my first trip to the area and they gave me so much information. I felt like I paid for a tour guide. Rooms were clean and had everything I needed.

Great Place!!

All the basics were covered. Easy check-in, friendly staff, clean room with everything I needed, great breakfast, large outdoor heated pool, fitness room - you name it. But, I have another reason I loved my stay. When not travelling, I take an hour a day to myself to sit and read. I have a special quiet spot in my house I do this in. When travelling, I do not like to do this in my room and always have a hard time finding a great spot to read. This hotel had the perfect spot. A beautiful courtyard with a nice cozy gazebo. I got my quiet read in and that is rare. Thank you.

They made me feel so at home during my wintery stay. The hotel had everything I needed. A great room, great breakfast and wonderful staff.

I have been staying at the Comfort Inn Harrisonburg for almost 5 years and it seems like it just gets better each time I stay. They are constantly upgrading and keeping the place in great repair. I couldn't ask for a more friendly staff.

Way to go

I was very impressed with my stay at the Comfort Inn in Harrisonburg. I had stayed years before at the Sheraton and had originally booked this stay there also. Upon arriving to that hotel, I was not impressed. I cancelled my reservation there and looked in on the Comfort next door. The beautiful landscaping caught my eye. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was great. I was overall highly impressed with my entire stay.

Disappointing

This motel was disappointing in terms of cleanliness, amenities and the continental breakfast. The carpet in the hallway was filthy, the one lamp didn't work, there was no kleenex in the room, no alarm clock only one lamp for two beds and the TV was malfunctioning. Finally the continental breakfast was limited and of very poor quality. The luck of the draw didn't work in our favor in this instance.

headache free

I had made a reservation at another hotel in harrisonburg and made it very clear I was coming with my dog. Upon arriving to the hotel they told me I couldn't bring my dog into the hotel. They were extremely rude and tried not to let me out of my reservation. They actually told me I could leave my small dog in the car overnight and that I had missed my cancellation window. I left and went to the Comfort. There I was greeted with a smile. They even appoligized for the trouble I had at the other hotel. My stay was wonderful. The room was clean and the staff was great! Next time I will book this hotel first.
