Mountainaire Inn & Log Cabins, Blowing Rock

Cracked a deal for one night for the Moose Cabin Memorial Day weekend. Cabin was right off the Main street, clean with beautiful flower gardens. Very well maintained and inviting. 2 bedroom 1 bath with fireplace was perfect for our needs. Small stove, microwave even a toaster (fully furnished) The only drawback was that the beds were like bricks (no joke) There was 4 in our group and we didn't sleep, the beds were so hard that your arm would fall asleep (Dad says atleast something got some sleep, LOL) The ambiance was nice, the cabin was very very clean and inviting but the beds would only do for one night, if you are thinking of staying for a whole weekend, I suggest elsewhere, or sleep on the floor. Debbie the owner is very friendly. I would recommend this cabin, just beware the beds.

The rooms are a bit small as well as the bathrooms but the kindness and warm attitudes were well worth it, the price and location is great also.

Rooms are small w/very small bathroom but they are clean. We had a not so great experience from the beginning. We reserved a specific room, but when we arrived, the room had been given to someone else. They did not seem to care & they would not refund our money so we could go to another location - very disappointing!

We stayed in one of the cabins and had a great weekend one time around mid-november a couple of years ago. We plan to go back and stay there this year, the location is GREAT!!!
