Hi-Seas Motel, Clearwater Beach

I have been going to the HI Seas for almost 20 years. Sometimes 2 or 3 times. I have only stayed at one other hotel on the beach, and will stay at no other. The staff is like family and treat you as you are also. Sure you can get a cheaper hotel but the cleanliness, service, location can NOT be beat. We have been meeting friends at this hotel from all over the country and Canada for years. The pool is fantastic, clean and always warm. I would reccomend this place to anybody. The Conti family should be commended for not giving into the big condo guys and staying a mom and pop place.

i liked this place because it has good food and clean quick servive. and it is all not a lot of money. so you should go to hi seas motel.

We had a brown gritty substance in our tub when we arrived. The next day sewage was backing up into our tub, toilet and sink. Management came to plung or tub and toilet and had room service clean the room. Within an hour the tub, toilet and sink we backing up with sewage from other rooms again. We were told management was out of town and we would be contacted on Tuesday. We had to use the restroom upstairs in our a friends room. After the fireworks we returned to our room to find pink stuff in the sink from the sewage back up and the smell was so repulsive we had to go drive home. I stayed in the room with my parents and my 17 month old daughter. We did not cause any of these sewage problems and we were told my Barbara at the hotel that this happens often in Clearwater. We were never offered another room. The following day when I called the owner, Ken, said he would not give me a credit because he was angry that I was going to file a compliant with the DBPR regarding the unsanitary situation.
