Budget Inn Farmington, Farmington

We booked the room when we got there. Very clean, and comfortable room. Not fancy....but I'm not! Very nice, and will stay again. Close to the Fingerlakes casino.

clean rooms, new paint, carpet etc. very comfortable stay they have rooms with 2 queen size bed. AAA approved.

We had booked our rooms over the phone earlier that week. The rate initially quoted on the phone was $79.00 per night. I pointed out that their website showed a rate of $69.00 per night, and asked if they would honor the internet rate. The gentleman said yes. When we checked in, the lady said that the $69.00 rate was for Friday night only, and that we would be charged $89.00 for Saturday night. As we knew that several events such as graduations and tournaments were happening in the local area that weekend, I agreed in order to secure accomodation. When we checked out Sunday morning, I asked for a receipt that contained the dates of stay, rates, and taxes. I was refused a detailed receipt, and she(owner?) stated that the credit card receipt I received for my credit charge was my receipt. We have stayed in the Rochester and Syracuse areas on seven other occassions in the past two years, and every other hotel has given us a detailed receipt in the past. Bathroom was moldy, and curtains would not close all the way.

Poor service overpriced for a rundown motel room not clean and they wouldn't clean it wouldn't give refund don't use credit card in advance check room before paying middle of nowere

Heater was broken in the mid of night, freezing and caught a bad cold! Owner wasn't giving refund. No place to argue. Terrible place! Never go back. Couple other cheap inns in the neighbourhood, will check them out next time go.
