Shaheen's Motel, Tupper Lake

When we arrived in Tupper Lake to visit family we were kind of hoping to rent a cabin as we had never done so before. Much to our dismay, the cabins were all closed up for the winter. We stopped at a gas station and on the outside wall was a map of Tupper Lake listing restaraunts,hotels, etc... As we were writing some down to call, a couple local people came and asked if they could help us in some way. They both recommended Shaheens as a place to stay and we went to check it out. We loved it! Very clean, everything we needed, lots of t.v. channels, a frig, a microwave, etc... When we checked in, the hotel owner told us places to eat and places to visit that we may never have known about! I loved this place and the price was reasonable! we will go back anytime we are back in that area!

there was nothing to not like. very very clean and all the staff was great. it is a definate stay again for me. very reasonable rates. rooms have all up to date amenities that you need. i wish when i was traveling that every other place i stay at was this clean.

We stayed here at the beginning and end of a canoe trip. The staff were very friendly, and particularly accommodating when we had an unexpectedly late arrival. The rooms were large (as motels go) and very clean. Shaheen's compares favorably with other motels we have stayed at in Tupper Lake. We would definitely come here again and recommend it to others.

Shaheens Motel staff are very friendly. It has a very large clean pool which is very nice. The rooms are VERY clean. The rates are excellent. The beds and chair in the rooms are comforatable. In the office there are a candy machine, an ice machine, menus to all the great restaurants in town, breakfast, and booklets to most of the attractions in the area. There is HBO on all the color tvs in the rooms and there is also a frig in each room. If I liked this motel I know you will to, so stay at Shaheens Motel in Tupper Lake, NY.

We enjoyed staying at the Shaheen's Motel, it was clean, we found it comfortable, quiet , and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed visiting Tupper Lake, and a nice clean roomy hotel made it just so much nicer.

I liked it,it was clean,has a mini golf course for all ages.It was a very clean pool and it has a swing set in the back for the kids to play on.I also like how it was a basket ball net that you can play with.There is a great breakfast in the morning.

When we were there we found the mattresses to be very hard and uncomfortable. Also, in the room next to us there was a party late at night that also kept us awake. On the other hand the room had an interestingly designed bathroom. There was also adequate space in the room.

Shaheen's is a great place to stay! The room was large, airy and comfortable. We enjoyed having the refrigerator available for cool drinks. Staff is pleasant and accommmodating. Value is amazing.
