Dorkat Motel, Rochester

The entire staff was wonderful! They went out of their way to accommodate me with a handicap room and provide me with a comfortable stay; they even made a fuss over my cat, which he thoroughly enjoyed!! It's a nice place run by good people. Whenever I'm in Rochester, I will definitely go to Dorkat for my lodging needs.

the 2 last reviews must have been posted by people who work there or relatives of theres. I agree with the poster that said it was creepy and the staff was rude especially the lady at the desk. More motels up the street and also the other way by the mall. Then again Haloween is coming and it might be what you are looking for.

My husband needed surgery at strong hospital so insted of driving back and forth to p.a me and my children stayed at the dorkat for almost a month at a very affordable price. The staff was very friendly and helpful they even did our laundry for us at a very low price! I didnt see any problems with the place drugs,bugs,ect.......They have a maintenance man on site so if we ever had a minor problem hed be there in no time to fix it..I really loved this motel matter of fact i added them to my Christmas card list..One more thing the housekeepers and management were probly better to me then someone at a five star hotel :o)

The name,price,outside of the motel make you think its a dumpy motel but when i got here and saw how clean it was and how friendly the employees were staying here made my trip to rochester 100times better and i will defiantly return.

Employees are very rude and change the prices at a whim. They act like YOU owe them something. The "manager" is awful and all could use some real management skills and customer service training. Don't they realize YOU the customer pay their salary???? Dirty, smelly and the creepy employees LIVE there! Especially that guy at the desk. Very unsettling. Stayed one night and left. Money better well spent somewhere else. Have reported them to the health dept and better business bureau.

everyone very helpful, older motel but very clean and near everything. rates are great. would recomment it.

This is probably a great place to run a clandestine meth lab for a short period of time. The people that work there are rude, and sketchy is too nice of an adjective. The employees seem like the kind of refuse that you don't want cleaning your room with your belongings in it. Shifty characters at best. They also have a cockroach problem. Do yourself a favor and shell out extra cash for another place!

very reasonable rates, stayed during transitional period while house was getting repaired nice, well maintained, close to mall and colleges, easy to find, rates were cheaper than super 8 and motel 6 but room was not too much different

I paid $180.00 a week room was very clean and location is close to a ton of stores and airport. very quiet excellent shower and remote TV

Very the cheapest in Rochester, near the Rochester airport. The reason why I am looking for the cheapest motel in Rochester is that I am a student coming graduate next year. I need the night before go back my home after my school is going on break. So, there is near the ROC airport. It is comfortable for me to go easily. :)
