Tall Pines Motel, Lake George

I have never reviewed a hotel before but I feel I HAVE to share my experience. To start, this motel has everything you will need..a very clean room, very hot showers and comfy beds. My children loved the pool...it was very clean & heated! The location is great too, it is right in the middle of everything! BUT the best part of the entire experience were the owners...they are genuinely nice people & that is not something you find everywhere. We were at Tall Pines Motel during Hurricane Irene, all of Lake George had no power, floods & downed trees but they made sure the generators were running all night for us to have lights & hot water because they cared that we had small children & a newborn baby with us! I can't even begin to express our gratitude. They are wonderful people & by the time we left they came over to say goodbye & hug us....those are moments that we will remember forever! We will definitely be back & would absolutely recommend this motel to everyone!!

I have been going to Tall Pines for over 12yrs. Every year they go out of their way to make my stay the BEST it can be. Everyone is so friend and will assist you right away if you need something. One year it was raining so hard on one of our riding day and we had to hang at the Motel. Well Brad got us a tarp to hang over the area, so we all could set sit out and just have a good time, That I call really making our stay so much more fun, when folks go out of their way to make you happy. I'm already set for my stay there for next year and would suggest you give them a stay. You will have a great time...!!

This motel is a must stay! Great place and owners. My family and I have no dislikes about the Tall Pines Motel. We enjoyed the large pool area. We never felt like we were stepping over people. There was many people around but lots of room for my family of four. The place we stayed last year had a very small pool area. To many chairs and not enough room to swim and relax. So we were very pleased with our pick this year. The grills and fire pit were awesome! We saved a little money by cooking on the property and the kids enjoyed making s'mores around the fire pit. The rooms were very clean- which is normally hard to come by, but not at this motel. They are on the top of their game. This place is like a home away from home. Nice, hardworking people that made sure my family enjoyed our vacation. We can't get back soon enough. Like- the GROUNDS, CLEAN ROOMS, GREAT LOCATION, HUGE POOL AREA, GRILLS and FIRE PIT Dislike- NOTHING

The grounds are kept very neat and the rooms were clean. More important, the owners and staff were very friendly and most accommodating to my family. They were helpful and we would definitely stay there again.

My family and I just returned from a stay at the Tall Pines and it was GREAT. It's a beautiful place, everything that it looked like on their website. Friendly staff, CLEAN rooms, GREAT LOCATION, a HUGE heated pool and HUGE Jacuzzi. They also have gas grills and a basketball hoop for us to use. Can't say enough about how great the place is. I think the negative reviews must have the wrong Tall Pines because its nothing like they said. We will be returning! We would recommend this motel. It is worth the time and money!

From the road this place looks pretty good, but it actually isn't. The grounds could be cleaner, and quite a few things are not working - such as the sauna and outdoor hot tub. Also, it is quite close to the road and the property is small, making it quite stressful if you have young children. Honestly, our kids were very bored there, as were we. For the price, you could find a much nicer, more entertaining place in Lake George.

For the price of this motel, I don't think I would recommend it. They really have nothing great there - small rooms, right on the highway - they don't even have a continental breakfast available. The pool area and premises are not very clean and I don't think I would stay there again.

I would recommend tall pines to anyone- the staff was great the rooms very clean No complaints about the cost of the room-reasonable.. I had a chance to talk to the owner -could not meet a nicer person ,had fun and I am going back- I inspected everything at the motel , [ I was acting like a quality inspector ] no complaints -back to connecticut

This hotel is unbeatable for the family owners that take care of their guests. Its always kept clean and you don't get dirty feet walking around the grounds or on the porch. The rooms are very well kept with great daily housekeeping and a staff that can book you into local attractions and tell you where to find things to do. It has a great pool and relaxing Adirondak porches to sit and read the horse race stats or just relax by the pool or hot tub. The owners can help you enjoy your stay with or without the kids and offer a good value to stay close to the village and the Lake.

This place was immaculate. The pool area was very clean. Th landscaping was very nice. Most importantly to my wife and I was the cleanliness of the rooms. I have been to lake George numerous times and this place was by far the best. The owner/operator was super frindly. Highly recommend the Tall Pines Motel
