La Quinta Inn Auburn Worcester, Auburn

This property wasn't up to LaQuinta's quality standards. Rather dull run of the mill hotel. If you stay in a King Bed room they are adjacent to the highway so you better like highway noise. We moved across the hall because of this. Some upgrades like granite sink counters and new beds were a big plus, but upgrades were not consistent. Lots still could use improving. Staff was helpful, printing our boarding passes for us since this hotel doesn't have a business center. Some room and hall carpets were stained, chipped paint in room, and ugly discolored tubs in the 2 rooms we visited. TVs aren't HD and appear blurry. Didn't try the breakfast because the offerings were meager and not up to the level of other LaQuintas we have previously stayed in. We won't stay in this one again. Stayed in the Fairfield Inn up the road, 3 years ago. It is a lot nicer and as convenient to the highways as this LaQuinta.
