Unfriendly Front Desk Staff

I am a paying customer, so treat me as a paying customer should be treated: professionally and respectfully. Last time I stayed there. The demeanor of the clerk was crude and made me so uncomfortable that I preferred not approach the clerk to ask about the ice machine, so I had to walk all around the property in search of the ice machine. The whole idea of hospitality business is to make guests welcomed and confortable, not the opposite.

A step above the movie "Deliverance"

This Econo Lodge is barely okay for a person on the minimum budget in the two story brick building. Stay away from the one story cabin like building, it is a bit scary like a bad camping trip or a horror movie. I was put in a smoking room and they tried to blame it on Orbitz. The staff is so cheap there is no receipt (they tell you to print out your own), you have to beg them to put out more cereal for the "complimentary breakfast." It's strictly white bread and whole milk. Try the Holiday Inn across the road, it's worth a little more money...

"OK 'motel'"

The bathroom sink in my room (176) did not drain. The room itself was nice and roomy and new carpeting was just installed that day. However, the breakfast left something to be desired. All that was offered were apples that were bruised, orange juice and Hostess donuts. We had to ask for a tea bag and when I wanted to put more out for the other guests, I wasn't given any. Also we had to ask for the bananas that they had in the back. They had cereal in the back too which they did not put out as well.
