Spring Hill Motor Lodge, East Sandwich

Spring Hill Motor Lodge is the best place I’ve stayed at on the Cape. Located in East Sandwich on scenic, tree-lined Route 6A, it’s a short drive to Sandwich Center, Cape Cod Canal and, bayside and ocean beaches. It’s convenient to restaurants and shops, and Route 6. Spring Hill has all the amenities you’d expect from a superior motor lodge: clean, comfortable, well-maintained rooms; TV cable; refrigerator; and peace and quiet in woodland surroundings. There’s also a heated pool and tennis court. The most interesting and endearing “feature” of Spring Hill is the proprietor, Nasry, an interesting and personable gentleman, poet and scholar. He’s easy to talk to and will answer all your questions about locations and events on the Cape. You’ll also meet Pavo, Nasry’s friendly, Great Pyrenees dog. I always look forward to my annual stay at Spring Hill Motor Lodge and I’m sure you’ll enjoy your time there as much as I do.

My husband and I just returned from our vacation in Sandwich where we stayed at the Spring Hill Motor Lodge. Our only regret was that we could not have stayed longer. For the past few years we have made Spring Hill our summer getaway and we are already looking forward to next year's vacation there. Spring Hill is nestled amont the pines on Route 6A in historic Sandwich. It is a clean, comfortable, quiet and peaceful retreat with all the necessary ammenities. The beautiful secluded, newly-renovated heated pool was great before and even better now. We spent most of our 'lazy' days in the pool. The rest of the property is just as beautiful. Nasry, the owner, is intelligent, pleasant, kind, and is always attentive to our needs. He always has good tips on restaurants and attractions on the Cape. Nasry's dog, Pavo, is a beautiful, gentle giant who is smarter than people know! We look forward to seeing Nasry and Pavo every year. If you are thinking of vacationing on the Cape...we highly recomend Spring Hill Motor Lodge...our home away from home.

This summer I was in business trip in Sandwich and spend two and a half month in Spring Hill Motor Lodge. It was a very pleasant and unforgettable stay. Nasry (the owner of the motel) was nice and friendly to me. He was very kind to give me free tickets to the Glass Museum and Heritage Museum and all the necessary information for me about the nearest shops, restaurants and beaches. Nasry is a very cheerful person and could make even the worst day funny and happy. He was always interested if everything was okay and suitable for me and tried to do his best to make my stay as nice as possible. As for the room, it was always nice and clean with comfortable bed, coffee machine, microwave, free wi-fi. The bedsheets and the towels were new and always fresh and clean. The motel also has a beautiful renewed pool where you can relax after long working day, read a nice book or just have a rest while the time pass you by. I'm sure that You will never ever in any place find such a peaceful, homelike, cozy atmosphere. Choose Spring Hill Motor lodge and You will never regret. Thanks Nasry.

We spent 4 nights at the Spring Hill Motor Lodge and hope to return. The location is convenient to nearby restaurants and beaches. The rooms are clean and inviting with all the amenities we could need. The motel owner/manager was extremely hosptitable and available at all times for any questions we might have. A very home like atmosphere including a wonderful big white dog who couldn't be more friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this motel to our friends. My son and me stayed for three nights and liked the Motel from the beginning. The owner is very friendly and helpful (speaks German and Bavarian fluently!) and gave us recommendations for restaurants, beaches and sightseeing. The rooms are clean and quiet with comfortable beds and there's a beautiful, just renewed pool behind the house. All of this for a reasonable price. Thanks for everything!

We had the pleasure of spending three delightful days at Spring Hill Motor Lodge in Sandwich, MA this past week. The room was clean, amenities good, bed comfortable, and price reasonable. The owner/manager was charming beyond reproach and conversationally exciting. With a couple of problems, he instantly came to our rescue. Even his extremely large, white dog was friendly and welcoming. When we again need a place to stay in the area, this will be our first choice. C & S – Princeton, MA

Very quaint lodge. Very clean. Everything was in ship shape order. Very reasonably priced compared to other lodging in area. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. Near to beaches and town. Since we were there in October, we didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and inviting. The hotel is situated on lovely green hill, with huge trees all around. I hadn't been to Cape Cod in years (now a Texan), but it was as lovely and charming as I remember from my childhood. I highly recommend Spring Hill Motor Lodge!

Me and my family had the opportunity to stay at one of the finest Motels on Cape Cod in East Sandwich, MA. Our stay was great, and the we really enjoyed ourselves, the place was very clean and well kept and the owner and staff was very nice and expedient to our needs. They have an awesome pool and nice well lit tennis court. Also a nice gas grill and picnic tables. I highly reccomend this spot for a short or long term stay for a family or single. It is a great spot to vacation for the family, and affordable.

The lodge is clean and tidy. The owner was extremely accomodating to us! Yes it IS like stepping back into the 50's. . . No flat screen TV nor granite...But I wanted to leave home! This is a great location for the beach and the town. Nice 2 1/4 walk into town with sites and places to stop along the way. Don't stay in the room! Get out and visit. Go sit by the pool [hey i 'm from texas and find the water COLD so i wouldn't go in until August or September probably] or grill something. But enjoy the quietness of the location, the great Pyrenees dog and the informative and intelligent owner!!

My friends and I traveled to Sandwich on Memorial Day Weekend for a wedding and were highly disappointed. When we arrived to check-in at 2:00, we were told the room was not ready and that we would be given another. The second room was HORRIBLE!!!! An overwhelming smell of mold and must enveloped us as we entered and when we went to open a window, we found that we had hit the jackpot on a large family of spiders. Here, there, they were EVERYWHERE! We immediately left the room and told the owner. An HOUR later we were back in our original room that of course, now smelled like bleach, but at least was clean and spider-free. The owner is a nut job who started yelling and screaming and accused me of trying to pull one over on him for making a comment about the TV that didn't work. For the price we paid, I would have rather gone to the Dan'l Webster Inn with the wedding party. You won't see me back there ever again!
