Great place to stay in Nantucket!

My wife & I stayed at the Tuckernuck Inn for our honeymoon - and we loved it. The rooms are kinda small, but this is an inn, not a roadside motel. It is a close walk to everything, and has a cozy reading room and nice seating up on the "widow's walk" too. Oh, and this inn is one of few on the island that actually has air conditioning, a major plus - especially if you visit during an unseasonably warm spell, like we did. We plan to go back as soon as possible!

We loved it!!!

My daughter & I were in the area for a triathlon at the lake (her,not me). We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The place is charming, but the hosts are even more so! Donna & Kim were welcoming and so much fun. Donna even made sure we had athlete's breakfasts-to-go on the morning of the race. The town of Meredith is one of the prettiest of the many surrounding the lake. We didn't have a bad meal at any restaurant in town, and found everyone to be warm and friendly. Small town America is alive and well in Meredith NH!
