Total Rip Off
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/8/06
My husband and I have dined at Everymay several times but under previous owners. We have also stayed at the inn a few times, also under previous ownership. We decided it was time to go back and asked another couple who we dine with frequently to join us. Well, we left feeling ripped off and embarrassed. I wish that I would have read some of the on-line reviews before we went so we would have gone elsewhere. Past owners were way more generous than the present owners. Small portions, no choices, and expensive liquor. We ended up with a bill of over $200 per couple for a small amount of food, one glass of wine each (extra cost of $10 each) each plus the small flute of champagne(included). Eventually this will catch up with the owners and they will not get away with ripping people off in this way. It is really a disgrace.

Where's the beef?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/4/05
Let me preface my comments by saying my husband and I have travelled extensively. We are also health-conscious. In fact, prior to arriving at the Everymay my husband did a 75 mile bike ride. He was hungry, but thought he would be enjoying a gourmet, multi-course dinner, so he waited to eat. Needless to say, he went to bed hungry and so did I. Never before have we spent SO MUCH money for SO LITTLE food. We don't consider two bites a course. It was absolutely ridiculous!!! We would never go back. The rooms were OK, but we've stayed at nicer places for less money. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Evermay on the Delaware
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/3/04
I thought that it was a charming inn with lovely hosts, yet the accomodations and food was not worth the price. They offer a six course menu, however some of the choices would hardly count as a course i.e popcorn with truffle butter, a lollipop dessert course (no kidding). Yet, the prices are pretty steep for what is offered.
