i was here on 11/19/08. i can tell you very nice motel staff with good room service. good prize in hershey area. i am waiting to go back at america's best value inn on summer-2009....great prize

We are stayed at this motel in the past and it was ok, but this time was a pleasurable experience. I must of called this poor girl 10 times on my way there and she was always pleasant. Kathy has the personality that every hotel needs at their front desk. She was very warm and inviting. Thank you to whoever hired this new manager because she rocks. I'll be staying at this hotel in the future. Nicole

We stayed at this hotel the other night and it was the first day the new managers Kathy and Ted took over and I must stay it was a wonderful experience. They treated us like family and were so curtious. Kathy was the most plesant person I have encountered at a hotel in a long time and Ted was so helpful when we couldn't find the remote for our tv. They immediatly changed our room and apoligized. This is a great change for this hotel and I hope to see them in 4 months again when we return to the hershey area. I would recommend this highly to anyone traveling in the area. Elaine

Hotel is roughly 4 miles outside of Hershey and much less expensive than Hershey hotels. Room was fairly standard. The bathroom fixtures were dated but functional. Having a fridge in the room was a nice perk. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. We will definitely keep The Village Inn in mind next time we go to Hershey Park.

I tried to book this hotel, and to make a long story short, the mangement was extremely rude, snide, and treated me like I was in a middle eastern country. I had a reservation in the system since May for an August 2005 arrival. I called in July to confirm the reservation, and the lady that answered, without any provocation, became very snide and rude. She kept repeating the same thing over and over (that I need to bring an ID, etc to get special rate, etc.), and I kept calmly answering her questions over and over. She hung up on me 4 times!!!! No joke. No insults or remarks from me at all. After I called back the last time, I got her "manager", who was probably her husband. He was twice as rude. When I asked him if my reservation was still valid, he looked into his "book" and said, I only had one room on my confirmation (I reserved 2!!!). I simply asked, what happened to my other room, and he acused me of only booking one, and made comments such as "what you going to do, kill me?" in a heavy accent. I had confirmed this reservation 30 minutes prior with his rude employee. He had nothing but snide remarks that nobody in a service job should EVER utter from their mouth. This was the WORST experience I have ever had with a motel. PLEASE, DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE ANY BUSINESS!!! THEY DON'T APPRECIATE IT, AND ARE ONLY IN BUSINESS FOR THEMSELVES. THEY HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS.
