A pleasant stay and a remarkable value

Comfortable, friendly, nice breakfast, newly refurbished - and a real travel bargain. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. A great value for your travel dollars.

Why pay more?

This place is perfect for a nice, clean place to stay while on business or for any reason really. Nice breakfast, convenient to restaurants, nice front desk people. Why pay twice this much or more someplace else?

Good value

The Super 8 was very clean and comfortable. The price is half that of other motels. Perkins Restaurant sits in front and is open 24 hours a day. I would definitely stay here again.

Night in State College

The service was good, the room was clean and would recommend staying at this hotel because of the price. It is not within 'normal' walking distance to campus, but then, there are very few choices in that category. I would stay in the hotel again.

Good enough

I would rate this hotel on the upper side its two-star rating. If you are looking for something a little better, there are some other choices in the area at about the same rates. All in all, the room was comfortable, everything worked, the staff was friendly, and the location was convienient to the PSU campus. It was a quick in and out, so I did not have time to make use of the kitchenette.

excellent, reliable and great price

Super 8 is always reliably clean and dependable, so we were quite happy because the motel was just as good we expected. Something that was super was the fact that the motel had a continental breakfast which was more substantial than I imagined it would be! The location was on a route convenient to Penn State without being in the downtown noisy area near the undergraduate housing. Super 8 is not a luxurious place to stay, but it is very clean, the rooms have just what you need to have a pleasant stay, the price can't be beat, and the continental breakfast was a great finishing touch.
