Best Travel Inn Philipsburg, Philipsburg

WOW.. Imagine my Suprise. A newly renovated (mainliner motel) was just not a painted over version.This Motel has a great location just outside of the city limits. The room was clean and very comfortable, The room came equipped with microwave, refrigerator,TV with all the channels, high speed internet, table and chairs. I only stayed a single night and found this useful, and it would be fantastic if I was staying longer. There is no restaurant at the hotel, however, the America Diner is right across the street. The Diner offers a home cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner at an affordable down home price. The staff at the motel was low-key, but very helpful when needed. The rates, lowest in the area, even offer a military discount. There is plenty of parking at the hotel. Oversized vehicles and campers are welcome. This will be great for the Folks that like to get out to the Penn State games.(20 miles) Positives: Clean, comfortable room. Helpful staff Negatives: None
