White Rose Motel, Hershey

My boyfriend & I stayed there just last nigt. We had a terrific conversation at the front desk while checking in. Then we got to our room and I thought "Oh, we're off to a bad start..." We asked for a room with a king sized bed and got a room with two queen. I went to the front dest and found out there was an AC that broke so we got moved. I was little disappointed but agreed they were only trying to help. They were kind enough to give us another room with a king sized bed. I must say these rooms are a little small but I couldn't have asked for a more clean room. I ALWAYS take my own sheets. This was the first time I actually slept on motel sheets. The pillows were King size and were nice and firm - there were also two exta's. The bed was comforble. The shower was a bit small but the water came out out firmly, hot & had no odor to it. The towels were not flimsy. :) :) We had a little trouble with the toilet not filling up and had to jiggle the handle. I left a note explaining that. I realized they really took pride in their motel when I recieved a phone call on the way home from the owner letting us know she received our note and that she was gong to get that taken care of. People do not have to go out of their way to call you. I also left my 2nd tip ever at this motel and I've been to PLENTY in the past 42 years of my life. We only stayed at a motel close to home due to renovations to our house. If we ever need to be out of our house again and stay close to home I'd pick the White Rose Motel in heartbeat!

My family and I love this motel. We have stayed there twice and are going back again soon. This motel is very clean and affordable.

Found this motel on web and absolutely loved it. Its clean, affordable and conveniently located to all attractions. The owners (Grimm family) are extremely polite and friendly and we cannot thank them enough for their helping us when stuck with broken car in Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster. They drove to Dutch Wonderland to pick up my 3 year old son, husband and myself at 10:00 pm. The pool is great. Its very clean and filled with pool toys and life jackets for the little ones. It also has great hours. Open late for night swimming. Has laundry room and they provide the detergent if you wish to do laundry before returning home. Refrigerator in room is great for drinks, milk and perishables such as fruit for early morning snacks. Has great outdoor balcony for sitting and relaxing after a long day at the parks. We really enjoyed our stay here and we are very glad we found it. We will be returning here and telling all friends and relatives about this motel.

We loved everything about this motel. The room was clean, and spacious. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was sooo clean. The staff at the office was friendly and helpful. We would recommend it to all our friends.

My husband and I had to make a last minute trip to Hershey for a funeral and stayed at the White Rose at the suggestion of a family member. We were skeptical, as the price was low and it wasn't a chain motel, but boy were we pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Our only minor complaint was that you have to check in/check out on the owners schedule, but as this is a privately owned motel, and as they were willing to work with us if we were going to arrive later than planned, we had no problems there either. The owner offered great restaurant suggestions and made sure we were taken care of. We'll definitely think of this place the next time we're in Hershey visiting family.

Stayed at White Rose Motel for one night while visiting Hershey Park. Was exactly what we needed. Centrally located, clean and reasonable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and well appointed given the price. This is perfect for an overnight or two if you are visiting Hershey. Pool was closed as it was after Labor Day, but we were informed of this when making our reservation. We were traveling with our 2 & 4 year olds and this was just fine for our family. It's 2 stories and there are only stairs, so dragging a lot of luggage might be a little troublesome, but this was not an issue for us. Will definitely stay here again on any subsequent visits to Hershey.

I only called to see about a weekend trip and the lady on the phone was rude! Geez! This place is definitely off my list of places I want to visit!

this place was awesome! i loved it!♥ the service was good and the pool was great i loved this hotel ane its cheap!♥great for student feildtrips and certainly worth the trip!plus its soo close to chocolate world you can almost taste the chocolate♥
