The food was very good, but the inn lacks character - sort of a cross between a higher-end nursing home and something you'd expect at Heritage USA. I'd rather have no fireplace than these zero-clearance gas units that add about as atmosphere as a large can of Sterno.

Great rooms, amazing food and service. Dont miss the breakfast! Great getaway from the city! One down side is the fact that is right on the thruway, but you wont care!

What a fabulous place to stay and eat!

My family and I were finishing a historical trip to DC and the surrounding area. We stopped in Bloomsburg to visit family and I had always wanted to stay and eat at The Inn. We live in California now and are accustomed to wonderful restaurants. The chef and pastry chef provided a meal to rival our San Francisco favorite eateries. The room was clean, quiet and large enough for my two daughters, my husband and myself. I will definitely go back when we are in the area.

Staff and accomodations were outstanding. Very nice place to stay. We try and go every year just for a get away. Its worth the trip.
