Doolan's Shore Club, Spring Lake

They just renovated the whole place and it looks fabulous. Had a great weekend there with my girlfriend. We enjoyed the spacious room, private pool in the back, and appreciated the fine banquet rooms as we looked around. The staff are friendly and we are looking forward to our next little getaway at Doolan's.

UPON CHECK IN THE FIRST ROOM I HAD WAS NOT VERY NICE AND HAD TO MOVE TO ANOTHER ROOM THE SECOND ROOM I HAD WAS NOT CLEAN AT ALL. THE BATH TUB WAS DIRTY. THE FOOD WAS NOT THAT GREAT. THE SERVICE WAS OKAY AND THE STAFF WAS NICE. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT MY WEEKEND STAY WAS THE SHOW, IT WAS GREAT.

I just returned home from my honeymoon and HAD to let the world know just how amazing my wedding was at Doolan's... it was a fairytale dream come true! Everything was amazing, from the building, decorations, the food, the service, the drinks, the cake, and the dessert table with flaming Alaska!!! Everyone at Doolans treated me and my new husband and guests as V.I.P.s all night long! All our guests are asking us to "do it again"! I have read some negative comments online and was worried that there was another wedding the same time as ours...but I never even noticed the other wedding or saw the other bride. EVERYTHING was fabulous!!! I guess the only complaint was there was too much good food and dessert, but that is not really a bad thing! It was also the best wedding cake I've ever seen or tasted.... everyone enjoyed it! So THANK YOU DOOLAN'S for an AMAZING WEDDING!!!

I thought the room needed some remodeling. But it was clean. Had dinner in the bar area which was very good. I think I really enjoyed my stay because of our bartendar Ron. He was nice and very funny. Had a really good time with him.

granted, the place is in dire need of remodeling/renovations. but given the fact that they have clean rooms, very spacious accomodations if you're looking for larger rooms, a big pool, a great little bar, and great food, for the price-you can't go wrong. less than 2 miles from the beach, and the place attracts a great clientele.

The service was cold, not a warm bone in these waitresses. Felt like I was in Russia! Food was late, cold, old, and expensive. The tall daughter needs a personality check!

Went to a wedding here and unfortunately reserved a room overnight, the room was terrible. It smelled like mold and smoke and had a hole in the wall under a moldy water streak. It also had not been renovated since at least 1970 , and the "woman" who was "managing" the place had obviously heard this all before. Unfortunately they wouldn't take a credit card ( obviously so nobody would dispute the charges ) and instead of getting our money back prior to check in the "manager" offered to "spray" the room to get rid of the mold smell. Long story short, everyone hated the place, ask if you can use a credit card here and check w / better business bureau before staying here, it's awful.
