Park View Inn, Salem

We went to Canobie Lake fro the opening day this year. We had a blast we decided to stay in Salem before we went. I don't like to stay at the big chains because I find them somewhat robotic. We stayed at the Park View and we so surprised how clean and affordable it was. The staff was great and made us feel welcome. This place is close to everything, it was surprising how quite it was considering it is right on Rte 28. We will without a doubt stay again!!!!

This place was far beyond what I was expecting. Having travelled to several states and stayed in some less-than-desirable locations, I wasn't expecting too much from a motel. Most of the ones I've stayed at have had a musty smell or loud neighbours. Fortunately, the Park View Inn was clean, smelled wonderful and was very quiet. I only heard a little noise from next door when my neighbours first came in. The staff was courteous. But even beyond that, they were people I felt I could actually talk to. I stayed by myself, and had no worries for my safety or security while there. The bed was springy and comfortable. The bathroom was bigger than I'm used to finding, and had plenty of counter space. The room even had a little kitchen area, which was unexpected. My only issue was that the television was a little wonky. The remote may have been low on batteries though, so not a big deal there. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable and inexpensive room for yourself or your family, that's close to major roadways and attractions, you can't do much better. I will DEFINITELY be staying here again.

Quiet, clean, very comfortable room. Softest, coziest bed ever! Very handy location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. Only complaint is loudness of A/C heater combination unit. when it kicks in.
