While staying at this hotel it was approx. -15 degrees. The door to the outside was broke and the cold came right through. The lock on it fell off when I tried to get in from the outside and didn't turn the key properly. The place looked like it was falling apart and on the first floor you could hear people constantly when they were just walking upstairs. To make a bad stay worse our credit card has since been charged twice for a room rate when we weren't even in the country. If we didn't check our statement monthly they would have collected three times the one night room rate. I have a call into my credit card company to see if they'll take any further action other than just debiting our account each month as I'm sure we're not the only ones being hit with these charges. I've advised the rest of our group that had stayed at the hotel with us to continue to monitor their cards. I hope the rest of the chain is not run similarly. I will never stay at this particular hotel again and will think twice before I stay at any Days Inn after this situation.
