Lovley's Motel, Palmyra

I Have stayed there a number of different times, all the other times things were good, not this time. Dirty floor, dirty sheets, toilet leaking from the tank after it was flushed and the smoke alarm battery was dead so it just kept making a noise every 15 min or so. I used to like to stay there but never again. The tub had a hard time draining as well. Sorry Lovely's but you off my list of places to stay.

I have pets, so I have to stay at a pet-friendly hotel. When pets are welcome, you can't expect spotless.. but I've stayed here a number of times.. maybe 5 or 6.. and my rooms were clean. One time there was a leak in the bathroom under the sink, but they came and fixed it right away. Everything always worked. I will stay there again. The people who work there have always been very nice.

the table was wabley- nice and peaceful no one around i just like listen to the cars -and there was alot of food to choose from.

This is an old fashioned Mom and Pop motel. 1950's furniture. Small room but neat and clean. Excellent mattress. Coffee maker and hair dryer, which we often dont find in the "pricey motels/hotels." Good cable tv. Dont expect the Ritz but for $50 was just fine. We needed a place to crash after an office party. If you are looking for a great price and a good mattress, then this is it!!

I loved the comfort of this motel!! The staff was exceptional and the the rooms were very cozy and clean!!! The girl at the front desk was an excellent receptionist and very professional! Thank you very much!!

The first year we travelled to Maine we had no idea you couldnt get a room in Bangor on Fridays.. Tired and needing a room we came upon Lovely's.. On the way back we once again needed to stop for the evening and totally by fluke we were once again at Lovelys..since then its become a part of our twice a year trip..The staff is very friendly, its got a Tim Hortons down the street,( for my CDN friends) ,the prices are very reasonable..and as i sit here typing this they have new laminate flooring and appear to be getting things ready for new paint and go figure free wireless

I like it Lovley's Motel because it is friendly and the people are helpful . I will go back everytime I go to Maine . Shopping is next door,fast foods are walking distant,and my family is just up the road .

I have been staying at Lovley's for 10years. I dare say, this time scared me. Dirty rooms, expensive rooms, not what it was. They increased their prices and decreased their service/cleaning. What happend???

A friend and I stayed at Lovely's Motel this past weekend. First thing we noticed was that the lamp didn't work and no lights in the bathroom. They did come fix the lights in the bathroom. The air conditioner didn't work, barely was blowing air, not even cold. There were 2 windows, one small and one large, large one didn't open. There was no soap in the bathroom and there was a coffee maker but no coffee. Now it doesn't bother me too much to see a bug once in a while but when I count 27 spiders outside between our hotel door and the next one, hanging from the balcony ceiling, well, it doesn't cost much to get a few cans of spider spray!! Wrote out complaint and gave it to the man in the lobby office. His remarks; this isn't a first rate hotel, to which we replied, you are asking first rate prices - almost $90.00 for one night; he also said, you could have gone to Bangor and spent $200.00 on a room. I've stayed in Bangor for less and got a lot more. NEVER AGAIN...
