High Seas Motel, Bar Harbor

First stayed summer 2010 and because of excellent experience didn't think twice about staying anywhere else this year. Agree with others that staff were very accommodating and made our stay very enjoyable and room was clean and comfortable.. Looking forward to next summer.

We were very please with not only the facilties but the people who work here. The pool was warm and clean and very up to date. The room was simple but clean and everything we needed. The land is beautiful and close to the park and Bar Harbor. We would recommed it to anyone!!

My husband and I stay at "The High Sea's" every year on our anniversary. You couldnt ask for anything more. The rooms are very clean and the over all maintenance of the property is top notch. The owners make you feel right at home and go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. The prices can't be beat. Skip the pompous hotels and stay here! Spend the money you saved on a Lobster bake!

I stayed at High Seas Motel in Bar Harbor, ME for two nights in September'07 with my family. The room was very clean and neatly organized. The bathroom was very clean also. The room had a TV and a small refrigerator, but no microwave. It is not very far from the entrance of Acadia Natl Park. If you are looking to stay in a reasonably priced motel in Bar Harbor, you can go for it. I would highly recommend it.

We were looking for an affordable place in Bar Harbor a week before our arrival and were a bit worried that this place still had vacancies so last minute. It must be the best-kept secret in Bar Harbor!!! Kelly and Greg (managers) are so nice - friendly and ready with suggestions when asked. The room was big, clean, and had a portable crib waiting as requested. We would definitely stay here again if we found ourselves in Maine (and I think we will!).

The High Seas is always our first choice when we visit Bar Harbor. Price is right, nice rooms, and a great pool. Richard and Kelly are the nicest people and really care.

We came to Bar Harbor for the first time and stopped in to the High Seas without reservations. We didn't know what to expect in that area since there are not many chain hotels, so we felt it was a bit of a gamble. No worries however, our room at the High Seas was very clean and comfortable and the entire property is very well cared for. We were pleasantly surprised to find this level of quality in the hotel and it's staff. The gal behind the desk took the time to tell us all about Bar Harbor and help us plan our outings. Thank You for being so helpful and accommodating!

Stay here in October 2006. Can't say enough about how clean the room and bathroom were. Don't normally see chrome that clean unless your in a five-star hotel. Parking lot accommodated our over size truck and even had deer to watch in the morning feeding on the foliage. Making plans to go back now...

ONE OF THE FINEST MOTELS IN THE BAR HARBOR AREA. RICHARD AND KELLY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. VERY BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE. GREAT RATES, GOOD FOR BUSINESS PEOPLE. Excellent service. Clean and friendly. Great price for area. Conveniently located short driving distance to Bar Harbor. Across the street to entrance to Acadia National Park. With many terrific lobster restaurants in the area.
