Hilton Guam Resort and Spa, Barrigada

My family and I enjoyed the water park, the Sunday brunch, and the room very much! Will definitely be heading back in the next couple of years! :)

It's beautiful in Guam and the Hilton is a beautiful place in which to stay. We were there for two weeks and had a bayside view. The rooms are remarkably clean and well-stocked. We were given bottled water each day, and a bowl of fruit, as a welcome greeting. There is a famous restaurant here, along with bayside night life. We are going back soon, this time for a month.

We weren't checked in properly which resulted in reception staff treating all incoming our calls were treated horribly. It took several talks to get the problem resolved and hotel manager spoke poor English which extended the problem. (By the way calling locally was $1 a call, so make sure you've got your own cell). There were ants in room (6th floor) and the key card system failed. The worst by far was the amount of time it took pool staff to call security when an old, sleezy non-guest started hitting on hotel guest's **children** at the hotel pool. Once security was called things went better, but the immediate staff was negligent. Terrible service. Find somewhere else to stay!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel located on beach, walk out and swim, lots of fish to see. Rooms always clean and rooms cool on hot days.

the hot girls nice import rides ! the food and local hospitality! the cost of living is pretty low so you wont have to spend much money to enjoy your self on this wonderful Island of Guam!

We stayed at Hilton for about 2 weeks and mind you, the first impression we had was very dissapointing. they have small room, they said bed were king size but what they're doing is they put together 2 twin beds to make it king???(how 'bout that!) and even the mattress were not comfy at all!, small bathroom, small tv, desk table has dents and scrathes (most of the rooms are like that!, they have lots of numbers to dial in like if i need to have room service i'm gonna dial * then the operator answers and will transfer to another line and i have to wait for a couple of minutes to get hold of them, even if i dial 0 for the front desk, still an operator will answer and will connect me to another one god, i can't keep hold of them for just one dial. and the most exciting of my whole stay, there's ANTS in the room. I've talked to most of their housekeepers and said some rooms really has one. damn, THEY NEED A LOT OF RENOVATIONS HUH!!! i wonder why the other two reviewed them as excellent. ... we should have not left Marriott Hotel haaay! though their internet cost $12/day which is a little cheaper than Marriott...and we got 2 free newspaper delivered through our door (which i don't get it!) no more stay at any Hilton Hotel, ever and THAT'S FOR SURE!:-)

The management and staff is the finest of any hotel any where in the world. I had many business opportunites on the Island of Guam and 99% of the time I stayed with the great people, service and accommodations of the Guam Hilton! The General Manager always made it a point to host his business guests on a Weds. evening and it was a great opportunity to learn and make new friends. I remember the names of the great people who were always eager to serve their guests with a smile. Herman,Sujah,Michael,Roy,Rita, Frank and Gena. The Pool Bar was always a fun place to people watch and enjoy the Disco/Dancing. If the staff reads this I did not forget the kindness and great Island hospitality you extended to me. The other two reviewers were either 1. very merciful people OR 2. the reviews were written 25 years ago when the hotel opened. The hotel lobby and pool area outside is very beautiful but the elevator, the hallways leading to the rooms, and the rooms themselves were just so dirty, dingy, and in bad need of renovation! I couldn't believe our oceanfront room was comparable to a Motel 6 room. Our king bed was really two full mattresses pushed together on a king box spring. In the middle of the night, me and my husband kept falling into the space between the two mattresses! How disappointing! Stay there if you want to but you've been warned.

This is a really nice hotel. The property is stunningly beautiful, and the hotel is gorgeous. The pool/bar/lagoon area of the hotel is really beautiful night and day. However, the area is to be avoided on Friday and Saturday nights as it fills with drunken 20-something military personnel and turns into a half-baked disco. Special kudos to the breakfast and lunch buffets in the basement. Excellent food and presentation, and very friendly staff. The rooms are all very nice and large. All furniture looks new and are nicely decorated. Bathrooms are large. Check the hotel's web site. They often feature internet-only specials. The drawback of this hotel is the location. It is in the middle of nowhere and it takes a bit of effort to get to either the beach or the main tourist and/or shopping areas. Overall, a great place to stay if you aren't a beach bum and have transportation.
