Not totally refurbished as advertised

My wife and I were booked in for 1 week, but we moved out after only 1 night. The Westin web-site claims the resort is "the ultimate in global five star comfort and luxury", and "our new guestrooms are of understated luxury", and "each room features the famous Heavenly Bed and Heavenly Showers". None of this is true. The Westin is a rebranding of the 31 year old Sheraton Royal Denarau Resort. They claim it has been totally refurbished at cost of US$15m, but the guestrooms have only been repainted, with new TV, new handbasins in vanity area, and new bed; everything else is still 31 years old, and showing it. The floor in the bathroom and toilet are still the original tiles, with lots of chipped edges and 31 years of filthy mould and dirt in the grouting. The carpet mat in the bed/lounge area had lots of bad stains and was filthy. All of the 3 rooms we were shown were exactly the same, all old, tired and filthy. As far as the claim that each room has the famous heavenly shower, they were not in any of the 3 rooms we were offered. Then again, nor were the bathrobes and slippers claimed to be in each room.
The "resort" should be rated 3 star quality at best; it is most definitely not up to Westin Hotel standards, and should not have been allowed to use the Westin name and reputation.
We moved to the Sheraton Denarau Villas, which was great.
