Outstanding Customer Service
Please note the following review is only on customer service at Swissotel The Stamford (not the rooms and amenities).
Although I was just a visitor and not a checked-in guest at Swissotel The Stamford, I am writing this feedback as I was impressed by their attentiveness to non-guests as well.
I had gone to Swissotel to deliver gifts for a few special guests who were residing at Swissotel. Immediately upon reaching the reception area, I was attended to by a staff, who came forward to ask how she could help me. When I said I was here to deliver gifts to a guest, she directed me to another counter nearer to the elevator where another staff attended to me.
There I explained that I came to deliver some gifts, and emphasized that it was very important that they reached the guest quickly and safely. Although the guest was not in his room at that point of time, the staff was very reassuring. He did not rush into collecting my gifts and chasing me off, but was very patient and accommodating. Most importantly, he was always with a smile.
I believe if a service staff could be so attentive to non-guests, then little is left to imagine the service they would provide to checked-in guests.
