Pan Pacific Singapore, Marina Centre

I dislike this place because the spa is horrible. I had experienced a bad service from their therapists. They're just so rude. I'm unsatisfied with the attitude they gave me.

the one of the best hotel i have ever seen in my life ,because the staff are friendly and the location is very good .in pan pacific you feel that you staying at your home.

This hotel is very nice. The room i stayed in was huge (standard room). The pool is awesome and the food is really good. There are some great retaurants within walking distance and about 25 malls also a short walk away. The best night life is a cab ride away but given how incredibly cheap the cabs are it really does not matter.

I was there during tsunami,luckily singapore is away and block by other island but there is a tendency.. will,what i love here is that Zambuca restaurant,the food is really fantastic,service is good,friedly staff,the wine cellar its so huge..there are thousands of wine u an choose from..

The hotel is gorgeous with all of the amenities you would expect from a 5 star hotel. I rated it 5 stars for Value but that's only because I was able to get a deal on the rate. We only paid $118 per night and it was worth every penney of that. I wouldn't rate it as high if we had to pay full price. We stayed on the 35th floor which is the top floor of rooms (the top floor is a restaurant). The outside glass elevators give you a beautiful view of the city. The location is awesome, right next to the Suntec City Mall and the Marina Square Mall. There are multiple restaurants in the hotel, a gym, and a relaxing spa right next to the pool. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. The bathtub was big enough to soak in and I would've stayed there if we hadn't had other places to see. The seperate glass shower was great but I fell in love with the King sized bed and feather pillows (softest pillows I've ever felt). We never made it to the pool but we could see many people enjoying it from our window view. They have wireless internet connection in the rooms but it's quite pricey so we didn't indulge. US standard appliances (laptop, camera, etc) will plug right in without needing a converter. I had trouble with my curling iron though. We definately enjoyed our stay there.

Great hotel on a great location - its close to the Marina and lots of restaurants, but the staff wasnt up to standard with other hotels in the same pricerange. (seemed like they didnt really like their jobs!) - A word of warning: If you suffer from vertigo, dont stay at the Pan Pacific. Glass elevators go to the 35th. floor on the outside of the building - but if that doesnt scare you off, DO bring you camera for some spectacular shots!

Atrium Style Hotel with a nightly band, way too noisy for us. Pretenious staff who struggle to smile. But a great location for shopping at Suntec, loads of restaurants close by.

I stayed at the Pan Pacific with my wife and two teenage children for three nights during August 2005. All of us were very impressed with this hotel. The architecture is quite stunning with an atrium that goes the full height of the hotel. The rooms were quite big (we had a suite) clean, well appointed and our king size bed was large and comfortable. Service was to a high standard with smiling, polite and efficient staff. Despite its downtown location the hotel is not particularly close to an MRT station, however as taxi's are cheap and plentiful, we did not find this to be a problem. One point of note, due to the architecture, you may not want to stay here if you suffer from vertigo. Dining in the hotel is good although the Atrium bar is very expensive. I will use this hotel again when I next visit Singapore.

Positives: -location - surrounding area is interesting convenient, and close to tourist attractions -design/architecture/views -service: outstanding. Negatives: -the only even minor negative was the distance from the MRT - not extreme, but be prepared to walk a few blocks.
