Grand Hyatt Seoul, Seoul

We were there in Nov for our 10th anniversary, it was the worst experience ever. I can't believe that the hotel turn off the heater when the temperature outside was almost zero because thats what they said... The excuse they gave was that some guest complained it was very stuffy and so they turn the whole system off. Do they think we are stupid? The system is in individual room and you can adjust whatever you like. It would have been better if they told us the truth that the heater in all the hotel rooms was down and there is nothing they can do about it accept to give us the small tiny electrical heater. The thing I really didn't like was that all of them were lying including the front desk and start giving ridiculous excuses to the point of rudeness. I can't believe the service was that bad and its a 5 star hotel. Such a big hotel only has one concierge. And worst part is they do not provide toothbrush, if you want to stay in this hotel, please remember to bring your own toothbrush and tooth paste. Also those that are very fascinated by toilet bidet, they do not have it in this hotel. Lastly the bed is really hard and pillow too soft. (no choice of pillow given)

From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I truly felt I arrived. The staff was gracious and polite. The view was breathtaking from the lobby which was seen once again from the room. I only wish business would take me to Seoul more often.

Such a rip off. Hard to go places since it's on a steep hill- guess I like the facilities..its cute but overall, i felt that i'm not getting any value out of the money im paying. Everything is so expensive and just has a nice look to it.

Despite being a loyal Hyatt fan and a frequent guest, Grand Hyatt Seoul is probably my least favorite Grand Hyatt in Asia. Yes, the view from Namsan is wonderful. But it is just a bit far from most places you need to go on a business trip. Next, the rooms are small. The first time I stepped into the room, I thought I was in Japan. The bathroom is tiny. The last drawback is that, unlike the Shilla or the Westin, guests are not provided with a local mobile phone. This is very inconvenient for people who do not possess a Korean or 3G phone. I do not understand why they can't provide the same level of service as the other top hotels. Having said that, the hotel does have a wonderful range of restaurants, and the beautiful lobby overlooks the city from the top of Namsan.

They are located in middle of Namsan mountain over looking Han River. View is just gorgeous and during spring and summer they have outdoor Terrace open and Poolside BBQ which is very very nice with spectacular view of the city. Room are really clean and service is excellent.

I like the people around because there good and the staff are very approachable. The rooms are very clean and the things are very in order and very well arranged. I also like the service very quick.

Stayed with my brother who lived down the street, I would walk to it and eat breakfast every morning. The best view in the city and the best american breakfast . This is where I'll stay the next time I go to Seoul.
