Hyatt Regency Delhi, New Delhi

Guests are not informed to keep the blinds on before scheduled window cleaning. I was shocked to the core coming face to face in stark naked condition ( I am a female) with a window cleaner who I am sure takes his job with extra perks ( at our cost). Cups and glasses in the rooms are wiped cleaned with used towels, picked up from your bathroom floor after wiping your bath tub & washbasin. I dare if you can find more bacterias even in your dustbin.

I have been here several times. the service is consistently good. The restaurants are decent but overpriced. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The gym is nice and the pool area is very well kept. This is a secure location with everything needed for a business traveler.

What a great place to stay! The personnel are very polite and attentive, and can also arrange local transportation with ease. All of the restaurants are top-notch, and the pool and spa are luxurious. This is definitely the place to stay in New Delhi.

Expensive, very clean but small rooms, very good service. Best for bussiness travelers. Nice resatraunts inside. Bell boy will call taxi if you need one to go in to city. Use those taxis, if not familiar with city. If money is not the problem, is one of the few places to stay in delhi in style.

Take care of your credit limit if you use your credit card.They will swipe your card and block all your money.You will not have money in your card for purchase.Even after payment, the blocked amount will not be released for 1 month.The airport pick up is very poor.the local hindi speaking horrible driver was not at all friendly.The rooms are very small and the ladies in recption try to talk in an accent ( indo american) which is difficult to undderstand.For airport drop they will again ask you to pay INR 1100.

If this is your first time to India from the West I highly recommend a high-end hotel like the Hyatt or something comperable. The rooms are nice, and the service is great. Like many places in India there is no shortage of help from the Concierges. By western standards the hotel prices are modest for a four-star hotel, though for the region the prices are very high. It is worth the extra money to stay at a high-end hotel in India! I felt relatively safe eating, in terms of sanitation, at the restaurants in the hotel, something that can not be said for other places I ate at or a couple of other hotels I visited for the two weeks I stayed there. The location was not terribly close to the site I was working at in Gurgaon, though it was a nice to go visit the sites in Delhi. There are some shops inside the hotel, but the clerks tend to be pushy like most Indian salespeople. I suggest the government store in Connaught Place instead.

Very elegant hotel - just sad that the rooms are starting to show their age. Small things - ect: we suddenly stood with the closet door in our hands, and i was not a new damage. The hotel is too fine, for that kind of things. But the food is exelent, the lobby inviting, and wonderful beds.

the hyatt is an architectural masterpiece, soaring above the city. a grand hotel, it remains the only moneymaking venture of hyatt in india. service is excellent. thay can pamper you silly. the lobby is magnificent and so is the convention centre.the rooms too offer a modern design and comfortable stay. the hotel features excellent restaurants- the finest indian cuisine and live music at dilli durbar; an innovative TK's where the chef makes a masterpiece out of the ingredients you pick. the bar is the most elegant you could find. la piazza offers the best italian in the whole city. but the star of the show is Djinn's (pronounced like gin) which is the best discotheque in the whole country. the swimming pool is beautiful. located in the backyard of the hotel, it makes you feel as if you are somewhere in the south pacific. also worth mention is club olympus, india's first wellness-health club. it's true to it's name. the hyatt also offers a great location, just minutes from the airport, gurgaon, railway stations, diplomatic enclave and connaight place. hyatt is one great piece of luxury, and your stay here can never go wrong.
