As we speak I am in the lovely Shangrila Kowloon. The rooms are spacious, elegant and well appointed. The people are courteous. We were greeted with complimentary tea when we arrived and my 3 year old nephew was delighted with his personalized cookies. Bathroom is spacious, clean and classy. My husband and I can't believe we got this great hotel at such a reasonable price!

This 5-star hotel is a world class hotel. Flowers, fruits, and tea in the room to welcome you was surely a plus, rooms were immaculately clean, good location to go shopping around the area, view of Victoria Harbor was magnificent, food was great, penthouse was a must to visit or hang out for a drink or two, and service was impeccable.

Friendly attentive service Clean attractive rooms, most of the harbor view rooms have been renovated. Although the city view rooms are "being" renovated they are not shabby, just old-fashioned Good restaurants fantastic location funky smell in the airconditioning vents

We had an airport transfer arranged at Shangri-la service counter and are impressed by the fast service for a limousine was already waiting for us soon after we confirmed reservation with the hotel. The driver is friendly and knowledgeable. Upon arrival, the staff is awaiting for us by the driveway and escorted us to the Horizon Club Lounge for exclusive and fast check-in. The room is very big by Hong Kong standard and very tastefully decorated. Bathroom is spacious and luxurious and they replenished the toiletries once you opened them (irregardless whether you have finished it). Staff at Horizon Club is very helpful and make our stay there very welcoming and personal as they addressed guests by their names. Very nice personal touch. Housekeeping staff is helpful and friendly and they make sure your room is ready and tidied up whenever you return to your rooms and housekeeping is done twice a day. Fresh fruits and newspaper are delivered on a daily basis. Free refreshments on the 21st storey till late and complimentary intercontinental breakfast daily during your stay. 20th storey business centre cum lounge is 24 hours with all day free refreshments. On Christmas Day, we were given bear and chocolate complimentary of the hotel. Location wise, it is opposite the avenue of stars and victoria harbour. They is a bridge from the hotel that linked to the avenue and a lift to bring you down the bridge. Within 3 mins walk is the KCR East Tsim Sha Tsui which links to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR. Within walking distance are the Empire Centre, TST SOGO, The Penisula Hotel and many shopping centres. We enjoyed our stay in Kowloon Shangri-La and will definitely go back there again!
