Not a Five star hotel !

Not a Business friendly hotel!..Extra charges for internet service and the location is a terrible commute (don't drive in Nairobi). It would take me 45 minutes to 1 hour to go 4 miles in rush hour traffic. Rooms were worn but clean (6th floor). Location is down town with a warning not to be on the streets at night, no real grounds to relax in like other hotels I visited while there. Again congestion is terrible, cab drivers know that you must use their service. Negotiate a price with several drivers. The food is good but gets boring after 4-5 days (I stayed 10 days). Safari services offered at the hotel are expensive and one would accept only cash. The fitness center was good, the pool grounds were ok, but there are better in less expensive hotels. The pub was very average. The beer is great. There is a charge for every telephone call even if you don't reach your party. the prices add up. I think the price should be radically adjusted (reduced). and include free wireless internet service. I really would not consider returning to this place...But I liked Nairobi and plan to return some day.
