A letdown to the Hilton Brand !!
I 've been working in hotels ( Sheraton, JW Marriotts, Grand Hyatt et al) for about 8 years before moving into telecom retail. I spend 65 days this year in hotels both for leisure and bussiness.
On check in I requested to be signed on Hilton honours but was told I would not get points as I am on comapny stay. (the only hotel to not catch on to a guest request to be signed for frequent stay program).
As a long stay, I expected some personalised service/attempt to make my stay more enjoyable. After 10 days I still have to get the standard welcome letter detailing my entitlements.
Room occupied by my colleagues have weighting scale, mine doesn't...what about hilton standards?
I was being provided with English newspaper for only upon calling and reminding then to give me newspaper regularly.
On the 8th day of my stay they give me an Arabic newspaper?!!!?
I put DND on door and still housekeeping wakes me up to clean the room.
The list is endless...bottomline...pathetic!!!
