Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv

Construction as of 3/2010 -- looks like no end in site. Gym closed. A/C does not work at night, but open window is very noisy. Beds are uncomfortable. A 4am wake-up call for next-door room sounded as if it was our phone. One bathroom had non working toiled and second had leaky shower. Food is lousy -- eat at nearby restaurants instead they're better and cheaper. Stay someplace (anyplace) else.

we stayed at crown plaza for 6 nights. The walls are paper thin can hear the guest next door ph.conversasion. They are busy with renovations and they "upgraded" us to the very end of the building suite 401+403(we have 2 children and need 2 rooms)just there where they drill and knock from 7.30 am. the door knob came off on the interleading room, the aircon. Made a terrible noise, the wind rattled the entrance door, we stuffed cardboard and towels in gaps, the mirrored wardrobe door was stuck, the wooden floors were very dusty, the cleaner never washed the used glass/cups, she could not understand any english. Nor many staff at breakfast....they run out of milk, bowels and spoons. the service was slow and they looked so bored with their job. The same breakfast for 6 mornings........would not stay there again !!!!!!!!anita sarembock south africa
