This was a very basic hotel on the Lapad penisular, old decrepid. Our room was small and cramped with tennis courts behind. The flood lights for the courts were on until 11pm every night and it was thus noisy.
I was extremely disappointed by my stay at Hotel Sumratin in Dubrovnik. It is located a significant distance from the old town which is frustrating, and yet despite this it was quite expensive relative to other (and better) hotels I had elsewhere in Croatia. The rooms at the Hotel Sumratin are roughly the size of large closests and have about equivalent charm. To top it off, the service in general was appalling with its consistent unwillingness to make any effort whatsoever for its paying customers.
