AMARAGUA, Torremolinos

We stayed at this hotel 2-9th Nov 2007 following a recommendation from a friend. We were disappointed mainly because of one thing - the restaurant, and therefore could not recommend it to someone looking for 4 star accommodation. The breakfast was fair if you wanted bacon, egg and beans. For dinner the food, and in particular the variety available was very poor. It was unimaginative, uninteresting and boring. We got no hot veg, and as for the sweet table it was a joke. Ice cream, fruit, rice in a bowl, one with brown sugar sprinkled over it the other with a digestive biscuit sitting on top and tea cakes night after night after night. Not for us. Sack the shef, get another that has an interest in variety and presentation and I might go back.

They often cleaned the rooms too late(after 1Pm). The food was excellent!Many tipes of dishes, mostly seafood or salads.The hotel has a beautyfull garden near the pool.It is great positioned, in a quiet residencial zone.Great for families with kids! We can't wait to go back!We will certainly return at this hotel1

We enjoyed the Amaragua so much. We stayed for three weeks on the Sun Holidays Package. The hotel is elegant yet comfortable. Marble lobby and bathrooms in our room. Great service at all times. Piano music every evening in the lobby bar. Beautiful indoor pool and Spa. Beautiful outdoor pool right over the beach. The buffet breakfast and dinners were excellent. Food great variety and delicious cuisine. Friendly waiter staff. This was a memorable experience and we are planning to return in 2006.
