Bad Attitude

They physical layout and the location were excellent. The employees, however, were a different story. At their best they were disinterested. At their worst, they exhibit the personality of a rattlesnake. The dining room was especially bad. It was obvious that they were nice to local Italian diners but treated foreign guests like a nuisance. My wife was served a pasta dish from a serving dish to her plate. She was served about 2/3's of the dish and the rest disappeared. When I asked if she could have the rest (in Italian) they said there was no more. Yet I saw the same dish served to an Italian gentleman next to us and he was served the entire contents of the serving dish. I saw another tourist order a fish which was deboned at a table away from the tourist's table. The waiter served her half the fish and took the other half back to the kitchen. I have travelled throughtout Italy and this was the worst service I have ever encountered in any hotel. If you don't care about employees' attitudes, this is a fine hotel. If you do, don't go.
