The Hotel is the best and very good top visit as the sites are cool The fine dining restaurant overlooking the Lily Pond, bears a decor reminiscent of royal banquet halls. Wonderful and exciting trip...
By ,
Our first visit to Rome was made even more pleasurable by our six-night stay at the Victoria. Staff were expedient in doing whatever it would take to make our stay pleasurable. They tracked our lost luggage, gave us good directions for "must see" attractions and how to get there. One lovely concierge even ran off a computer copy of firestations for us (our son is a fireman in the USA and I wanted to see if I could get an Italian fireman patch to take home to him). Our room and bathroom were sparkling clean every day. Sheets changed daily and ironed, too! Breakfasts were excellent and included cappuchino, coffee, fruit, yogurt, cheeses, meats, lovely breads and brioches, sweet breads, eggs, bacon, and I can't remember what more. We felt that we were an important guest at the Victoria and would choose it again on a return to Rome. We would recommend this hotel as a first choice to anyone. Richard and Kathy Deming Tennessee

Great value for this quiet hotel.
By ,
We stayed for a week in late April 2008. The staff were very accomodating, not only providing us in-house service, but also general advice on getting around, giving mapped directions and booking taxi's and tours for us. The rooms are a bit small and 'modest' according to American standards, but in talking to other american travelers this is typcal of a Roman hotel. There was no service on the roof deck when we were there, but we were allowed to bring our own cocktails, essentially giving us a splendidly private view. The hotel faces the aurelian wall. To some that may be 'out of the way'. To us it was a welcome return to the quiet part of town. And it really is only 2 blocks from Via Veneto.

FOUND THE STAFF UNFRIENDLY AND AT TIMES RUDE
By ,
Our first stay was June 1999.We enjoyed our first stay and found a staff that was very helpful and we had a very enjoyable experience. Our first stay was one week. We just completed our second stay this September for six days. This stay we found a very unfriendly staff and at times rude. The beds were not comfortable and our room was small. The positive for this hotel is its location. Close to many attractions and fine restaurants.

Great Hotel
By ,
We had a great room with a little balcony and a whirlpool tub. The room was small but ok for a one night stay. The bar and restaurant were great! Ask for a room with a whirlpool tub!

Well yes I did NOT rate everyhting exellent, but thats not because there was anyhting wrong it was just a vibe that wanted me to give the Victoria Hotel that. Anyways I just wanted to say that it was exellent~!~!~!~!

Awesome!!!!
By ,
We travelled to Italy in Dec. 05, and stayed for three weeks. Our children, aged 7 and 9, accompanied us. Staying at Hotel Victoria was great! Classy, luxurious, professional! The location is great, walking distance to several great sights. Room service and the overall dining experience very very good. Would definately recommend it to anyone.
