Disgusting accomodations....a lie on the website
By ,
This hotel is SUBSTANDARD....the rooms are small and untidy. The staff is unaccomodating and the website tells tales of it being beautiful. Buyer beware don't go here!

Will definitely try somewhere else next time
By ,
Nice public spaces -- beautiful lobby, gorgeous sitting area on 1st floor. Smallish sized rooms with nice appointments. Service is above average but not terribly friendly. Restaurant is ridiculously overpriced -- 33 euros ($50) for continental breakfast or 52 euros (or $75) for full breakfast buffet! Decent location.

Greatest Location
By ,
I will admit it has been several years since my stay there, but I thought it was a lovely hotel. The location is amazing, it's in walking distance of some of Rome's most enjoyable spots. The decor has a very neoclassical atmosphere, which adds to a classic feel that is apparent as soon as you walk in. My biggest complaint is it's a little over priced... we paid 40 euro per person for a buffet breakfast!

I have already booked my stay here for 2007!
By ,
I really liked the location of this Hotel...it is located to all the sights, or within walking distance. I was amazed at how close the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the shops on Via Veneto were. I enjoyed the upgraded look of this hotel, everything was tastefully done. The staff was exceptional! They were all so professional...And, their concierge was so amazingly friendly.,..he taught me a little Italian everyday...I will definitely go back to this hotel..I feel that once you find a wonderful hotel, that's familiar to you...you should stay with it...With Hotel Eden... you cannot go wrong!

Not too impressed!
By ,
The consistency of service this hotel has to offer obviously needs to be questioned. While my other friends had a perfect stay, mine was obviously the opposite. Bath robes were not hung but instead put into clear bags and left on the floor. Pens and pencils were not replaced at all nor did door knob hangers! Reception hospitality was poor and I was overcharged! It turns out that what the staff told me was obviously a misleading statement in which I was charged significantly after my 4 days stay! Not too impressed! Hope everyone else's experience is better than mine. p/s: Bravo to their concierge staffs and doormen though!

Rome at its finest
By ,
I have stayed at Hotel Eden 4 times over the past 6 years and absolutely love the hotel. The staff is first-rate and the Concierge is rated the best in the City. The rooms are on the small side but are spotless. The restaurant on top of the hotel has the best view in Rome and charges accordingly. The hotel has excellent security. You feel like you are a part of the family when staying at the hotel.
